Awesome tips thanks! I never realized you can use anchor points to grab a the color channel as the alpha!

this is awesome! the workaround i was using was to just make a separate alpha for each sticker, but this is so much easier!

Great beginner tutorial. A note would be that you could have push it further by matching the weareness of the pokeball with the stickers too, for example, have them scratched and show the white paper underneath, also with some discoloration, I'm expecting the stickers not to be this clean while the pokeball is very damaged.

Yeah definitely! You can play and add as much complexity as you need. We do something similar with leather in the premium course

With your method you don't have to move the Sticker around in uv space, set the Projection Type to planar & you can move it in the object space with a 3d gizmos.

Just a heads up, you don't need to swap from a Warp Projection to a UV one for this method to work. ❤

Yep you are right! I just wanted to use this method to explain the principles of the process. as pointed in another comment you can use the 3d gizmos as well

This is a good tutorial, but a little late. With the new custom sticker tool, you dont need the anchor point anymore. Its not perfect, but its definitely a nice jumping off point for a sticker...
