I've been dabbling in acrylics. Looking for a way to get unstuck from my OCD tendencies. Sometimes it is discouraging. This video was so helpful.

"If somebody wants to buy it, it's finished." Great quote. I love the raw work of many unfinished paintings from master artists more than their finished work. It's like looking into their minds at the thought process.

Thank you. Another very good instruction video. Am saving them all. Wonder what the painting would look like if you didn’t have to pause to instruct. Bet it would be completely different.

I love the color - my thing - - you can work on a larger one - I think it is finished and lovely - I am going to go do this right now in acrylics and then if I like it then paint it in oils - thank you again for being a good teacher and sharing your knowledge

Great session Mike! Question - I notice that this photo is cropped so the guy’s head hits top of composition. I assume this is on purpose like the goats and emphasizes shapes. Maybe you’ll cover that in the design challenge, but is that always your intent? Go close and have subject intersect edges???
