My niece 8 year old bday present we decided to get her, her first board. We went to a local skate shop in Orange and it was a really nice experience supporting a local skateshop...

I agree the graphic was sick. But, clear grip tape wears down quicker than regular grip tape based on reviews of other youtubers and personal experience.

I skate like every day but JoJo she just need to commit and tell her not to give up and rock those tricks and this is how to do a Ollie. Pop the board on the tail then slide your foot up JUMP and land on the board!!! Quick Tip:when you pop the board the foot that you piped the board which is the back foot make sure it doesn’t just stay there make sure you jump with your whole body.Have fun riding 😀=)

I remember when I got my first skateboard , the first day I end up fracturing my spine And the first thing i ask the doctor "once I heal can I skateboard?" And my mom look at me like I was out of my mind Good times :D I love skate boarding since I was 8 and started skating when I was 16 :3 Seeing the girls that small getting there first skateboard makes me wish that was me , my parents never wanted me skate since they think only guys was allowed ;-;

that age and can already cruise, geez that's some talent. I was like 18 when I went full send into skateboarding and it took me a week, I was skating street so I had to get used to going as fast as possible on the road without falling, took me longer than I thought and I fell once or twice. just got back into it and only took me 2 days anyways, I'm sure your daughter is gonna be a great skater. well she probably is by the time I write this comment, it's been two years since the vid came out

A tip for learning tricks is taking the trucks and wheels off then going on carpet and practicing

Bad idea. Just go straight for concrete, taking off the trucks and wheels ruins the pop. Same with if you try it on grass. I’d recommend buying skater trainers online or finding a crack in the pavement to keep her board stationary

i’m so happy seeing a girl at her age getting into skateboarding. my parents didn’t let me skateboard because it was still such a male dominant sport in 2014 but after 6 years of begging (i’m 17 now) they finally approved since many girls are getting into skateboarding. i’m glad you didn’t stop her from doing what she enjoys! this is going to inspire another girl her age and skateboarding will soon be a gender neutral sport! ❣️

It's good u guys have near skateboard shop .in my state I don't think so I brought fiber board because I have no money I collect and brought because I don't know 💔🥺 it's more money and no one near me skating I am alone no skate park in my skate one or two that's long way . Never be happy 😔sad life

I was at a skateshop with my dad and he didn’t allow them to change my wheels and bearings *the only thing si bought* because he said those machines look ugly so he used his hands to pop the bearings in when we got home lmaoo

yes, after that shop we went to get her some vans... it was a surprise on getting her the board so she wasnt ready.
