Creating a makeshift Hot Tub with an inflatable kids pool and a Joolca HOTTAP

4 жыл бұрынDuring the lockdown, this Joolca employee decided to make the most of his new HOTTAP v2 and create a backyard wellness spa retreat.
Using a cheap inflatable kids pool and just the HOTTAP, he was able to create a hot tub experience in his backyard. In his case, he ran mains water directly through the HOTTAP and into the pool, which took around 2.5 hours to get it as full as you can see (and sitting at around 36 Degrees Celcius).
Once the water was filled, he was able to heat it up again without wasting it by recirculating the water using the 12V pump.

Been looking for how to convert our paddling pool for years!! Have 2 of the big ones for daycare doggies so first thing I'd need is a fence round it 😂

The problem is that the heat turns of at 50 C or 120 F, its not adequate enough to heat it to a comfortable 101 F. With the pump that its supplied with. I think if you can increase the flow it may be better?

I’m trying to do this right now and my hottap keeps giving me two symbols 1. A flame with strike thru it and 2. A orange temperature gauge flashing

Hi mate, I'm sorry that you are having issues getting your HOTTAP to ignite. It sounds like your HOTTAP is reaching the safety cutoff temperature. This generally is caused by blockages, can you please check if your water connections and filters are free from blockages?
