My word for this year is discipline. I chose this word for several reasons, but I know in order to live my best life I must be disciplined in everything I do. Yes, I am human and will fall short, but My goals for 2024 are so high I must be as disciplined as possible. I look forward to the challenges and the journey. Thank you for being along for the ride!

Hi Angela! I love all of these ideas. Back in 2021, my husband and I started being more intentional with spending time together. Every 3 months we take small 4 day trips somewhere. We live in NC and our trips are no more than a 5 hour car ride. We’ve been to TN, DC, MD, GA and the mountains. In October of every year we travel out of the country. This has been so much fun for us and always gives us something to look forward to. Blessings to you! ❤

Hi Angela. I retired 1/2023 and hired a housekeeper. I wish had found her when I was working. I LOVE it and her! I consider her a good investment and she is in my annual budget. She does everything. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I with you on Maxi dresses, I think I have 25 of them and usually only wear them in the summer because I feel so elegant., it protects me from the sun, low shoes, high heels or sneakers, and because I have long legs the maxi breezes through my body. I plan on visiting college friends this summer from Atlantic, Florida, Seattle, New Mexico and of course NY. Eight of us visiting one another this summer, I can't wait and I'm going to maxi out this summer.

I have been watching you for two years, and appreciate they way you encourage us all by setting an example. I love that you don't say "This is what you should do," you say "This is what I'm going to do." My husband and I sold our house and retired in September, and have been traveling full time around the USA. We are seeing so much and have met some wonderful people! Having worked in the medical field dealing with shifts... It took a long time to see the benefits of a night time routine. But I find great value in it and miss it when I don't adhere to it. I'm not a morning person for peopling... But I enjoy waking up with the South African sun.. 😎

Happy Sunday Angela, Girl you must be my missing at birth daughter 😂 we have so much in common, staring with the bad bedtime to the Maxie dresses and although I don't have a housekeeper yet I've told myself that's what I'm getting for my birthday in July a once a month cleaning lady just to do the deep cleaning because I go to my line dance class 3 days per week and if you add that to being in my 70's okay I know it's pass the time for my cleaning teem, group or lady, but she's coming. Mrs. Angela. I love your travel pictures especially the one that had hand prints on your husband back saying “mines”….so cute. 🥰…The one with him on one knee,is that where he proposed? Those paintings are beautiful. I like the texture on them. I’m sorry she passed away. She look so young. My very best friend/I call her sister….passed away last month January 15th at the young age of 57. My heart is broken too 😢

Awesome information beautiful paintings. I knew the one with the Afro was you I could tell because of the mouth area but one thing I do wanna do is go back and do some socializing. I used to be on Meetup back in Florida and that’s how I met a couple of friends I need to do that here now that I’m in Michigan and, my next thing is to dress more nicer uplifting. It’s a little hard here cause it’s always so cold three months out of the year anyway . It’s kinda hard to cause. Most of my clothes are still back in Florida. I have to stay encouraged or motivated to get dressed up and look good and be comfortable. Thank you.

❤ Angela, you have hit the ground running with your channel this year and I am certain you will get to all of your goals. I’m right there with you on adding art on the walls, except I need to start finding the art. I literally have 3 small pieces up and they are all birds…my husband has a bird in his work area, I found a small wooden art piece with a carved bird for the laundry room and I have a small painting of a hummingbird a client gave me. I think I need to move on now with the birds. LOL 😂 Your art is beautiful enjoy the process of picking frames and deciding where it should go. 🏡😊

I only got to the part of the video about the cleaning service and I'm like wow too bad I'm not in Texas I am in Georgia but I'm sure I can find someone in Georgia but I need to I just moved and I'm going through and getting rid of stuff I need to get rid of all the things I'm going to get rid of first decluttering my closet and I'm in an apartment.

Great video. I'm also working on developing a bedtime routine. I work FT, have a family (husband and 3 kids), and go to school PT. I find myself staying up late to decompress, but it's not great because I wake up early. I recently downloaded an app called Unwinding that I plan to incorporate in my routine once it's fully established. Would love to hear how it goes for you.
