In today's video, I map my own USA civil war scenario. This scenario is completely exaggerated and unlikely. Creating my own US civil war was actually pretty fun. as a Washingtonian myself I honestly think that we would join Texas in a civil war, or at least, Washington would split in half along the cascade mountains. Oregon would be a similar story, with the rural/urban divide being really bad there as well. alternatively, the entirety of the Cascadia region would be 3rd party, possibly allying with Texas.

I agree Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington are similar to Idaho in many ways. Including politics. I think they would join on my state's side. (I'm from Texas)

It's always fun to speculate and draw your own conclusions. That is what creativity is all about, see. And with a second Civil War scenario, it's no different. This channel presents interesting concepts that are just really fun to think about, and I admire that.

I am a Washingtonian too. Here's my take on it. So, the Cascades divide Washington and Oregon in half - politically and physically. East of the areas is mostly rural desert and would probably side with the Reps. However, I'm not too sure of this as I live west of the Cascades and my city is mostly Rep, as are most rural areas like that. There are lots of Reps west, and lots of Dems east. This state sucks.

It definitely wouldn't be realistic to keep the whole of the state on one side. Also, the state's infrastructure links would be too important not to utilize

You should've done the state split thing in New York. Downstate and Upstate are so different that they would definitely fight against each other (Specifically upstate as the population is disgruntled as the conservative majority has no power in federal elections as the downstaters always vote progressive.) Maybe California too but that would be more East vs. West.

Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona have pretty close ties to Texas it would make sense for them to join the red side. As well as the western part of Pennsylvania.

Out of curiosity where are you getting this information/ "sides" from? (Not saying I disagree). But I could see alliances playing out this way as well. You read any books/saw websites on this? (I agree I wouldn't be surprised if there were a second Civil, with your forecasts)

"New Hampshire doesn't have that much of a population". Kinda true, but where it has people, IT HAS PEOPLE. The southeastern parts are VERY populous, with 1.2 million people in 1/3 of the area. That is similar to the population density of China (yeah somehow).
