I never get tired of touring your gorgeous, curated home. I rewind constantly to see the wall art, a vessel of florals, the way you have arranged a candlestick, a vase of flowers, a fringed pillow. Its is all so cohesive and cozy to me. Your before photos are life according to a man..... functional , just the required furniture to fit a space. Then you moved in , and turned it into a nest of comfort and tranquility. Your style is everything I love. I have bookmarked this to revisit whenever I need inspiration. The library is such an incredible transformation! The wallpaper, dark built ins. the drapes and round table.... just perfection! Have a happy day Lisa!

It’s lovely to see a lovely homely, cosy space. I especially love how you both have kept so many of your families heirlooms. So many people toss away so much of their history for the sake of modern day living, and replace so much good solid furniture for minimalistic looks, which I find so empty and cold! I suppose everyone has different tastes! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

There’s such warmth in every room. The library transformation is simply gorgeous. I’m looking at paint and wallpaper for our living room and foyer and the choices are overwhelming.

I have been watching your old videos and one thing that still calls my attention is how you take the time to answer each comment! So classy and ladylike of you...I'm aware that as your channel grows there will be times when you cannot possibly do that, but in the meantime, it is a very elegant thing to do. It reminds me of something I read about Jackie Kennedy. Every single time she'd returned from a dinner, party etc, not official, she'd write a thank you note before going to bed, no matter how tired she was. Thank you Lisa!

Lovely. I’ve turned a bedroom w attached bath into a library - den as well. It’s off of a balcony we have, so it makes for the perfect alternative to a bedroom. Keep your great videos coming.

Love your touches, Lisa! The Library is a genius idea....love the way you used it for the tea party (and dining as a couple)! I also ❤ the casita! Such a cozy space! Did you repaint the walls to a warmer, creamier color? They read warmer in the after pictures and cooler in the before pictures. BTW: my all-time favorite room is the Spanish bedroom! Love, love, love the bed...the linens...the wallpaper...the moodiness of the space! Thank you for sharing your home and your gifts and talents with us. I am soaking it up, dear Kindred Spirit! 🌷🫖🌸🏡💕

Crazy that you noticed KS- excellent eye! One of the most remarkable things about the wall color is that it was way too stark for my taste (and was sure it would need to change 😝) until it started to morph as the linen white began reflecting all our middle toned furnishings. Even all of the drapes impacted wall color when they don’t cover the windows most of the time. So much of our layering of neutrals had to do with managing light. This is where I give my husband all the credit- he said “just wait”. I would have loved going moody in the master, for instance, but it gets the least light and needed brightening. Wall art will be what warms our master - with time! We also put dimmers on every single light switch to create warm mood lighting throughout. Just realized I should do night time video one of these days!! A few pieces of art from my mom (that I kept with her in memory care) are now blessing the Spanish room. I’ll share that soon too! Yes, yes! I would love to see an evening video. What fun! I love your creative spirit and what I would call “easy elegance”. This is not an easy feat, rather a relaxed and refined sensibility. Thank goodness for your channel--I bask in the glory of your loving creation. A home that is loved shines through the darkness...and your home is loved and filled with love! Such a joy! Absolutely love the layered and timeless quality of your home. And it delights me no end that you are showing us your work in progress. Example: new art coming to bedrooms, etc. Such fun! I made the Tres Leches cake for the 4th of July....thank you for the inspiration and sharing Ina’s recipe. It was a huge hit at my granddaughter’s pool party.
