I LOVE the way you care for your farm cats. That shows that you love them. Too many people don’t even provide the basic requirements of adequate food & shelter and there you are providing places to meet their curiosity and exercise needs! I don't have barn cats, but I have two feral cats that adopted me when they were young. They stay in the garage at night and are allowed to roam free during the day. I have used the heating pads similar to those you displayed. Mine love their heat pads. Keeps them warm on cold winter nights. Although not as extensive as your cat house, my garage has a variety of things to keep the cats entertained at night. Mine too are avid hunters and often leave little treasures for me to find. I throw them out in a certain area to ensure Mr. Opossum has a nice meal when he happens along.

They don’t fight because they have a proper outlet to put their energy into. Most behavioral issues come from pent up energy. Great job to you and the cats!

I know I NEVER get tired of updates on the barn cats AND their abode. For me it is endlessly fascinating and enjoyable. Cats always like getting their homes changed up and improved, even if they like to have their ONE special spot doesn't mean they won't try out new things. It does challenge them when they have something new to explore. They just love that and I love that you make such an effort to do that for them. Your farm is so cool but I admit my favorite part is the kitties and YOU. Thank you!

Almost 70 years ago, my family adopted a Siamese who had chewed through AC insulation as a kitten and lost most of her teeth. We always made sure that she had proper food and she lived to a good age. 🐈‍⬛☺

Youve made such a fun and comfortable space for your cats. They can jump and climb and rest in a safe environment. My cat loves to climb so I made her a climbing wall out of an old mattress I coveted in an upholstered material that’s easy for her to grip onto. She scratches on it and loves to climb up and sleep on top of it. It’s near the window so she can keep an eye on everything. Her cat tree is directly in front of the window so she can jump onto and off of the climbing wall from it as well. I have graduated stairs for her to jump and play and rest on on the opposite side of the climbing wall. She loves getting around without touching the floor. You have some pretty sweet and happy and affectionate working cats. Good job on taking such good care of their needs.

What a nice project I'm glad I find you, you are exactly my double. 24 years ago I bougth un abandon farm (80 hectars) and I love it. Restore the house with all the confort you can imagine, built new barns and left the city life (hell). Two days ago one of my favorite goats (May) strangled herself in a fence, in a matter of 5 minutes she was dead, I tried to resuscitate her and nothing happen I was crying and asking God to make her come back to life but no... she had a 3 month baby (Nelly) it was so painful to see her screaming nearby her mother... I put Nelly with is mother sister (Dasy) and she calmed a lot, this morning Dasy had a baby I named her Fify. Life seem to go on with highs and lows as normal...
