Were ready to take home some trophies!!! As we clean up the entire outside of the shop and get ready for a new fence we start getting some new ideas. The cop car is our burnout competition car but we wanted to spruce it up a bit. We added a trailer and a mustang to the back and now we just cant lose. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!!!

Advice from personal experience. Fence before trees and plants. You do landscaping first and your fencers will ruin it. Keep a close eye on them guys.

@@hungryalien we use temp fences until all earth work is done as people have hit our fences with trucks, excavators and other equipment. After fence we do landscaping as the fencers have in the past stood on, drove through, put dirt and clay from post holes all over our nice new landscaping.

When you have your security fencing all installed you will need perimeter floodlights that will light up the whole area should anyone enter with the intention of breaking in at night. Security has to be your No.1 priority with all the cars and equipment you have in your shop.

Rather than removing the rear calipers, and the reduced braking, install a LineLoc kit to hold presssure to the front calipers with a push of a button (used by drag racers to spin the slicks during burnout). That way you retain braking on all four wheels for any panic or emergency stop.

Line locks aren't a good idea for burnout competitions. They don't like staying on for more then a few seconds as they get extremely hot. Some like the Hurst and B&M line locks have heatsinks for this reason, but you still shouldn't leave them on for so long. Disabling the rear brakes is by far the best option as it gives you better control when swinging around
@Mike-qp8bv
@Mike-qp8bv 2 жыл бұрын
Way too much work when all you need is a pair of vice grips. Just clamp the rear flex hose somewhere in the middle and it's done. Front brakes will work fine as normal. Rear won't work at all. When the competition is over take the vice grips off and everything will be back to normal.
@vongdong10

@@MVP11489 can you tell me why line locks heat up from being on for too long? I've read people use them on the rear brakes for burnouts so they can still control the front brakes
@MVP11489
@MVP11489 2 жыл бұрын
@@vongdong10 line locks are solenoids. Just like how you can fry a starter solenoid when cranking for too long. It uses quite alot of power in the moment its on, which heats it up. The heat creates resistance, which naturally draws more amperage, more amperage more heat, more heat more resistance, more resistance even more amperage, etc. Its a vicious cycle that ends in wires melting and possibly catching on fire. Some people use line locks to block the rear brakes, or to hold front brake pressure. Yes. It can be done. It's just not a good idea to keep a line lock on too long. Drag racing, it may only be active for 10-15 seconds. A burnout competition, could easily be 3 to 5 minutes, how ever long the tires can last. Way too long for a line lock. Im sure people do it, but its a chance you take.

I own an LX (Dodge Magnum) and have been warned about the limited tongue weight capacity of these unibody vehicles. It's due to the frame design. The engines are more than capable but the frames aren't. I don't know if the 2009 fixed the issue but the 2005 - 2008 Magnum and 300 and 2006 - 2008 Charger have extremely low tongue weight capacity.

@@nathanday137 You still have the problem they need to bleed the lines everytime they reconnect them. Do you really think they thought about that? I don't. Just install a line-lock on the rear brakes. That can be done with a simple manual valve or with one that closes with a simple press on the button. That's the only responsible way to do this. Open the valve when you want to drive the car (regardless using it for towing a trailer or not), and close it when you go drifting.

You guys need to get a security fence up asap! Showing all these random people inside your shop like that, its just a matter of time before we see a thumbnail “we’ve been robbed”. Cameras are fine for observation but thats all they are good for, someone could empty that building in under 5 mins with enough people and planning. Take action boys! Respect.

do straw and seed and keep sprinkler on it and get fence in - don't go overboard but it will look nice either way - do a second office and 4 bay where parking spots are just set back a tad - you need the storage space and you could move lifts over there and gain floor and storage space - do a flat roof and have upstairs office and deck and solar panels #parapet

Being a city employee in a major U.S city, you guys might wanna cool off on the burnouts on the city streets. If your city is anything like mine, complaints = to violations no matter who or what you are. Doesn't help if they can get video proof also. Build an area on your property to do that.

If it is in business ordinances the town wants them to follow they cant skate around it. Some towns don't hassle businesses to follow it to a T but I assume the town is being strict because they want that area fixed to a T. And the goonz are the first in the area to kick start it I'm assuming. The rest of the area will eventually get the notice to clean up or fines will come rolling in. The city is about to make some money......off of the other businesses lol.
