Your colouring shows how nice gradient can be pulled off, makes me want to use gradient a bit more, thanks for showing your talent!

I never thought I'd be one to be so entertained with drawing videos, but you pull it off super well! The fast pace keeps attintion, and it doesn't feel boring at all! Not to mention seeing how you draw is awesome! These adorable creations are amazing, and it's really cool seeing how they are made. Love it! aahh Thank you so much!! I recommend books on Life Drawing and Anatomy to improve drawing (both human and animal)! Some authors I recommend are Burne Hogarth, Glenn Vilppu, Eliot Goldfinger, Terryl Whitlatch, Mike Mattesi etc! One book I often reference is the Cyclopedia Anatomicae by Gyorgy Feher & Andras Sznuyoghy; and ofc for animation I always recommend The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams : ) Btw we also share many recs on our discord.gg/creucat (#art-resources) ^_^

Honestly, as a person who used to study in a school where they primary uses toon Boom to animate, You teach alot better than how my professors does! Everything is alot clearer and easier to know than just giving vague instructions and leave us to find out the rest of the tools

Thank you!! Procreate actually has a really cool feature, if you hold down the pen it can round the lineart for you 😱 Very useful for super round eyes like Créu 🤭

Oooooh so you start your drawings directly in ToonBoom? Is it good for sketching? Or is it because it helps with animating afterwards? Looking forward for more of these!! ^^✨

aahh thank you Vitor!! I actually tend to thumbnail more on a sketchbook, but I had some technical problems >.< But yes, #toonboomharmony is pretty good for sketching (at least much much much superior to Flash!)

I'm so lucky 2 have a friend whose working at a major animation Studio like Pixar.🙂 So how's progression on Turning Red doing & R U also working on Lightyear?

aww thank you!! We're done animating on Red, and I'm skipping Lightyear (though I'd have loved to animate that robo-cat!! 😍 Currently I'm on Cars+, it's pretty chill! ^_^

Is there a difference between using a scratchy sketch than a more cleaned out sketch?

I think it comes down to preference, honestly! Some people can sketch really clean, which is awesome! There is no right or wrong, although I would say cleaner sketch helps with less "guessing" during line art! This is also particularly important in animation - especially in the older days where studios had a clean-up department (animators usually didn't clean up their own sketch). If the sketch it too ruff, it becomes harder to inbetween and can lead to some inconsistencies!
