I just realized what worked for me in the past is to marry two of the ideas you mentioned: move things + add a new thing. Bascially, I'd leave the art studio (that felt stagnant after a while) I'd walk (move) to a neighborhood that was either NEW for me or I haven't explored it enough yet... and I'd stay there walking slowly, paying attention, imagining a story with all the historical elements I saw... this is how I found new inspiration and new paintings were created from this. In other words it was a sort of ADVENTURE

Love these creative tips- really thinking outside the box ❤Just found you and subscribed😊I totally agree about moving furniture and things around in your space, along with a good cleaning and organizing sesh! It always helps me. Like the River of creativity has built up a damn and things are stagnant. My space gets cluttered and block the energy flow. I don’t care how “woo woo” it sounds to others, it works and it makes sense to me. And we gotta do what works🤩

I stumbled across your page while looking for ways to start my Grimoire and through your work, found that I too am an Art Witch. Your quirky personality and kindness can light up a room! I would love to make a Grimoire as beautifully and colorful as yours are. I just don't know where to start. I know it can be anything I want, and for some reason that amount of freedom has me paralyzed lol. May I ask for your suggestion?? Where would you start if you were frozen artistically? OMG, so many ideas for brick textures ... I want to do rubbings of textured bricks like the gravestone rubbings with thin paper and crayons or pencils ... and brick prints by rubbing Distress Ink (I have far too many inks) on the brick and then smoothing the paper over it. Do you have any other ideas?

Awww, castles along the Rhine! 💕 I grew up in Bonn and often traveled by train along the Rhine and saw all the lovely castles and the magical landscape - it is deeply rooted within me! I spent some time with my nephew today. We were playing with his little people and for some reason I made a haunted narrative about his toy school bus. It's got to be the longest mystery with no ending a toddler has ever witnessed. Needless to say that I experienced an accidental writing prompt I didn't know that I was given.
