Inspired by finding a Doepfer SEM filter in a box under my bed, I decided to make a video on the various applications and joys of filters!
I don't want to say that filters are under-rated or under-utilised, because they're really not, I just wanna express my passion for these classic stalwarts of synthesis.
In this video there will be lot's of patching from scratch and creating musical ideas based around the humble filter. Featureing the UVCF from intellijel, the SEM filter from Doepfer, the Dual Dagger from Shakmat and even some algorithmic filtering from the FX Aid.
