I love the simplicity of the concept. Maybe the rotor could be touching the rims with hard rubber or adapt a freewheel to add another chain

Inefficient way of power transmission. U should have used gear and sprocket. Any way that motor can be used as generator to light up head lamp.

Very good, simple design! Excellent! I have motor assembly with 50cc engine I bought years ago that mounted on top of rear wheel, with a scrub thing that was lowered on to tire spinning, and i drove it really well down the street, then tire blew. Couldn't take the strain. Whole assembly cost less than $100, but i knew it wouldn't work unless i got some kind o really strong tire. So i put it into garage where it's been for 30 years. Maybe use other guys advice and put some kind of rubber on the wheel so doesn't touch tire I love you! Genius!

wow didn't know those puny motors had the kind of torque for this application you can try adding another motor to the wheels with a diode to recharge the battery and improve the range of the bike!!!

You must replace wood with rubber or cover the wood with rubber otherwise it will ruin the tyre

Cool, but the most important is missing, the charge on battery when in moviment. That's real mean for eletrical bikes.

Quick and very simple. I like it! OK, you may get more tyre wear and have to replace the driving roller from time to time but it is wood so not a real problem.

After watching this video I made a jet which is capable of achieving 99.99% of the speed of light.

it would be better if we stick rubber strip over the sides of rim and apply rotor on it rather than tyre sidewalls. this may help reducing tyre strength

I made this bike with ...two 555 moters+ U.P.S battery which have already a charge able function.....but I used hot glue on bottle caps to attach with motor.

^ READ THIS BEFORE YOU TRY ^ [And waste your precious time and money] ✘(Wrong things in the video)- • The battery would last only for 2 minutes hardly because the motor is under heavy load it's eating massive amount of Amps • The wooden block on the shaft will wear out quickly • The motor isn't capable of driving such a load • You need to cycle your self first and then turn on the motor • If the cycle stops and the motor is still running, it will immediately catch fire • Potential risk of fire because of the uncalculated use of lead acid battery • Adult can't ride it because they are too heavy for this (thats why he used a child in the video) • No speed regulator too, so it would only run on preset speed. ✓(What you really need) --> At least a 24v motor with large torque --> Lithium Polymer batteries are much better --> A proper motor controller unit and a BMS --> The motor shaft must be somehow connect to chain itself, so it will never wear out --> Speed controlled accelerator or other system for speed regulations
