Aw man, this is seriously a FANTASTIC statement...wow, gives me goosebumps, I need to steal this from you and use it ALL the time...lol I still send so many songs to my 3 married sons with kids..and I have all of my 5 grandkids hooked on all music My dad was a jazz musician, sax and clarinet. He played on the Gleason Show when I was a child, was very strange seeing your dad on tv..he used to play with sammy davis, jr. when he performed in Baltimore, and transposed all of Sammy's music to the key he was singing.I chose the name "Grammy" because I love so much (as a grandmother name, lol)...I went to one of my son's this week and my grandson had made me a "lego" gramophone..lol

Sadly I have recently lost her to Sepsis, I am listening to this song in tears as the words sum up everything about her, her kindness, strength & ability to see something good in everyone. How lucky I was to share my life with this wonderful special woman. Untill we meet again, all my love always & forever, Tim x.

She may be the face I can't forget A trace of pleasure or regret May be my treasure or the price I have to pay She may be the song that summer sings May be the chill that autumn brings May be a hundred different things Within the measure of a day She may be the beauty or the beast May be the famine or the feast May turn each day into a Heaven or a Hell She may be the mirror of my dreams A smile reflected in a stream She may not be what she may seem Inside her shell She, who always seems so happy in a crowd Whose eyes can be so private and so proud No one's allowed to see them when they cry She may be the love that cannot hope to last May come to me from shadows of the past That I remember 'til the day I die She may be the reason I survive The why and wherefore I'm alive The one I'll care for through the rough and ready years Me, I'll take her laughter and her tears And make them all my souvenirs For where she goes I've got to be The meaning of my life is She, she Oh, she

You are quite wrong. He has won multiple awards including Grammy Awards in 1999 and 2020, and has twice been nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Male Artist. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rolling Stone ranked Costello number 80 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Perhaps "underrated" by people who don't recognise talent but in the circles where it counts he is acclaimed.

I was 19 years old when the original of this deeply touching song by Charles Aznavour was a hit back in 1974 and it holds personal memories for me and for over 44 years, long-held dear, so I was delighted to hear it again when it was covered here by Elvis Costello. Now after all these years and being an old buzzard I prefer the original but Costello does this timeless classic justice, in the year of 2018 when Charles died. Thank you for the memories!

My biggest wish is to marry her one day. I pray someday she can give me the chance to prove my sincerity. Eduarda, eu te amo com todo meu coração! Você é um anjo brasileiro para mim. Phil Collins and Elvis Costello never fail to amaze me. The movie was so beautiful too only if i could run into someone in notting hill and fall in love

Halo tu Polska, my też znamy i doceniamy tego typu perełki:).

She may be the face I can't forget The trace of pleasure or regret May be my treasure or the price I have to pay She may be the song the summer sings May be the chill the autumn brings May be a hundred different things Within the measure of a day She may be the beauty or the beast May be the famine or the feast May turn each day into a heaven or a hell She may be the mirror of my dreams The smile reflected in a stream She may not be what she may seem inside her shell She who always seems so happy in a crowd Whose eyes can be so crowded and so proud No one's allowed to see them when they cry She may be the love that cannot hope to last May come to me from shadows of the past But I'll remember till the day I die She may be the reason I survive The why and wherefore I'm alive The one I'll care for through the rough in many years Me, I'll take her laughter and her tears And make them all my souvenirs For where she goes I've got to be The meaning of my life is she She She
