1 credit card hai ,usko apply karne time ,annual income fill karne ka option hi nahi rhta,jab me iski eligibility details me gaya to dekha ki jiska income 11 lakhs+ hai annually wohi eligible hai, ye Bina koi income proof apply ho raha,suppose agr main apply Kiya aur approve ho gaya , to kya govt ye assume karke ki mera income 11lakhs+ hai ,mujhe income tax notice bhej skta hai kya? I am a 21-year-old non-earning student living in India who just filled 1 year's NIL ITR. It's like I don't earn anything but I spend on all our necessities through my credit card. I pay the bills perfectly on time but since I am spending more than I am earning, will I be asked for the fund's source? It's like I ask my father for the money to pay the bills but to be honest, the expenditure amount significantly exceeds the amount that we show in his income tax file. Therefore I want to know what will happen because of it? How will the income tax department come to know about my expenditures if they are not directly reported by my bank/card lender?

Sir.. I have one question . I want to invest in wife account in India. We both are in abroad. But she is house wife. If I invest in her account , while filing ITR can I show other source income as tuition ? Is it create any problem because she is in abroad

Yes … department see ur payment made in credit card at any point of time in whole month or year.. before bill generation or after … does not matter

the information is not totally true, If u earn 5 laskh and your total repayment is 10 lakh ,it will not attract IT department if only it is not by cash(1 lakh) and if you haven't purchased anything that cost 10 lakh in a single transaction. They know that you may be spending savings or your wife or children pay back some of the bills. But the total repayment should not be too much than income. like earning 5 lakh and repayment is 30 lakh. double than earning is fine
