A credit risk analyst interview will consist of key financial reviews but importantly will also need you to be aware of what exactly you're assessing. The interviewer will want to test that you actually understand the company and assess credit risk on a case by case basis as opposed to making general comments. As a credit analyst, you will have to assess the risk from various angles and I cover the best framework for credit analysts to use in their interviews.
This credit risk interview video will go through a common interview question, "how to assess the credit risk of company x".

I personally don’t follow any but I’ll keep a look out if there’s any useful ones to read. I plan to create my own newsletter soon as well where I’ll give news highlights!

Hi, thanks for the video, really useful indeed! I’m just wondering, is it not a bit counterintuitive going from micro to macro? Wouldn’t it be better to lead with the macro considerations to then go into more detail as you move towards a company’s business level? Would love to have your feedback on this, cheers!

Thanks for the feedback. I wouldn’t worry too much if you start from macro to micro or micro to macro, the interviewer will realise you know your stuff and understand what kind of framework you’re answering with straight away. Your way is fine to do though and probably easier!

Is it halal working in Investment Banking ? Like in Mergers and Acquisition , Asset Management , Sales & Trading ........ Working for Firms like JP Morgan , Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley ? Working in Big 4 or Consulting firms such Bain & Mckinsey , BCG , The big 4 like Delloite , Ey and Pwc ??

Those are quite varied positions, companies and responsibilities across your list. For example doing interest rate derivative at GS would not be halal. Consulting on a company’s efficiency improvements at BCG would be.
