Exactly the system is definitely rigged to keep people maxxed out in debt. People buy stuff they don't need because the bank approves the way over their head.

@@6.2bandz well i dont know him. i just saw his short. All i was saying is that not going into high interest debt and not caring about status symbols is the best mindset to get in to become rich. sure there are also hard work and learning high paying skills envolved, but these bring you nothing if you spend it all on dumb shit while getting in debt. I dont see where thats wrong.

@@6.2bandzthis is exactly how wealthy people think, you just don't know all the details of his investment portfolio. In order to grow wealth people use their income from their job to buy income-generating assets. Once you've accumulated enough of those assets, you're then able to live off the interest, gains, or dividends of your assets, which get taxed much more favorably than just income. Limiting liabilities, consistent investment in income-generating assets, and living below ones means for years is precisely how wealthy people build their wealth.

Paying cash only works if you have buckets of cash to begin with. Some 18 years needing a car having to buy a used car with no money to fix it will have to settle for a loan for the car, and credit cards to repair. Stay frosty people

I brought my house with my credit and pay 3.3 Apr on my loan. My bank pays me 5.26 apy on the money I keep in my savings. I make more on interest than I pay on interest and what I have in my account would only cover half of my mortgage. Same thing with my car note, I could buy the car in the cash but my money makes more money in the bank than it does paying low APR loans off

Tech if you put thought into it you could manipulate loans to be more favorable in your deal and it’s not always about a car, you can get a loan for anything like a house which is very important and knowing how to manipulate that system is a necessity so no paying for everything in full isn’t the best option all the time I learned that very fast

Yall are right credit score is a joke BUT having a good credit score has benefited me and my family tremendously. I almost NEVER pay any interest because with good credit you can get approved with no interesting for 1-3 years. I used to say I didn’t care about credit back when I had bad credit. I think it was a way of dealing with the fact my credit was fkd.

Just to be clear you dont need to buy shit you can't afford to build good credit. Credit is useful for maximizing your capital by using someone else's. There is a reason why really rich people leverage their wealth to get more capital on credit. Also, if you are using your vehicle for work, you can account for the depreciation on your taxes. Looks like you are getting by just fine but that doesn't mean a bigger, newer truck doesn't have real value to someone's business. It all boils down to doing your due diligence.

I’ll take my 800+ credit score buddy fuck what you talking about…. The deal is pretty simple just because you have a high credit score does not mean you go out and get a bunch of expensive stuff. It’s more of a integrity issue with me. Pay your bills on time don’t live outside of your means that’s the purpose of it however I do agree with all this extra flashy…Hey, look at me stuff really does not matter however, I’ll keep my credit score live within my means.

He said twice the money in interest for something to be worth nothing when I’m done😂😂 I don’t think you understand the idea of credit and creating “generational wealth” from the banks money to then benefit and make it yours. Now when we speak of a loan for a vehicle. Ok I could understand that. Vehicles depreciate. What about EVERYTHING else?

I do agree with you . I’m a farm owner with kids and my own business . I just bought an 2021 SUV for my wife and kids to drive in for safety and pleasure with the tech . I’ve owned it for 4 months now and haven’t driven it once . It’s the peace of mind that it’s safety score is 95/100 with 40 mpg and a factory warranty until 2027 . Although it was a $27,000 purchase , I still feel that with a 300 dollar payment monthly , I can continue to invest freely
