Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸 Would you elaborate a bit more about the lowering kit, thank you so much for assisting me in my new motorcycle purchase, and keep producing more videos about the CRF.

Thanks so much, it’s all about the memories for me, KZfaq just stores the data haha. The lowering kit is built into the YSS front and rear suspension, when you order it, there’s a optional 30mm low which I have, it’s easy to install the rear , but the front cartridges are something a suspension specialist should be doing, I watched it being done and I was so glad I didn’t have a go like I normally would. Anyway I hope you get heaps of enjoyment out of your Crf . Ps; add the 550 performance ecu it’ll just be better.

oem gear leaver is soft for a reason, it is designed to bend and protect the shaft from damage.

Nice work & I'm now subb'd up & clanged the bell..... I do have a question about plastics? Some guys w/ expensive bikes have talked about removing all the stock plastics, wrapping them up, and storing them. Then they get another set that they can color anyhow they wish & that way when the bike hits the ground they've still got the originals for resale of their bike? Have you ever heard about doing this & are the plastics on this Rally version expensive enough to warrant what I've mentioned? If you've not heard of this or don't know, it's alright but I'm asking b/c I just saw several people trashing their new Rally plastics & it cost a lot to replace. Your opinion would be great & I'm looking to buy this bike soon as I have the funds..... in the meantime I'm looking at all upgrades/expenditures I might encounter after purchase. Anyhow, off to watch all this video.. peace

Hi, I have done exactly that with the plastics on my 300 Husky, but not the Honda, I haven’t found “cheap” replacement plastics for the Rally as yet, but I don’t believe it’s totally worth the effort, these Rally’s seem to drop value either way.

This Rally version has so many plastics(more than the 300L) & that's when I remembered guys w/ big bikes doing just that? So you've heard of doing this & I don't know that it's cost effective or feasible but if you did do this you'd be able to color the bike in any way you can imagine ?! I like the possibilities in making it completely unique but like you said, you'd have to find replacements at a cost that makes it a smart move? So how much are you saying the Rally drops in price? You've found this true? Part of me would pay for a new one just to know that it's not been abused to bad but if the price depreciation is that great it might be wise that I consider a used one? Thanks for sharing that info as it could change everything...... ty much. peace man

Yeah & I have a pretty good eye for all the suspect places to look.... for all the liquids & leaks. For the wearing down of gears/sprockets & such...... but do you think the price drop is that big? IDKnow, you're the 1st person I've talked about this with. I know I own no tools & don't have money to fix stuff right now, that's what drives me for a new bike & I'm saving right now to be able to buy it outright. I don't want a Note w/ the Bank! But as I save I'll keep on logging all the mods that are good/bad or indifferent. I do appreciate your work.... it takes special types to be making videos about their sH!T.... peace

Nice one mate, looks like you have done everything to her. I shall be spending a few quid on mine next year. Enjoy 👍🏻

It’s all about the suspension, go there first, then airfilter (it’s now a twin air, I changed out the unifilter) Then 550 ecu to suit the fuel and exhaust you’ll be using.

Cheers for that, re the suspension Im going for the Rally Raid level 1, it's not cheap but from what I can gather it will transform the bike. I reckon will all the mods it will set me back around £4000 which it a lot of money but in my opinion will be well worth it as she will be a keeper. 👍🏻

@@MrSTAdventures go with the top of the line YSS cartridges, I’ve used both Rally raid and YSS , just order on the heavy side springs , I weigh 100kg with my gear on, and I use the 110kg springs.

@@raffs_adv cheers again, will have a look at the YSS. I’m 85kg without the kit. Also going with the Mosko Moto 80L reckless system so heavier springs will be a good idea 👍🏻

@@raffs_adv well, then I have to think about that again. I want to carry everything for about a week including tent etc. and am not sure if Blizzard XL or 2x OS 18. Thought that handling stuff in the blizzards is easier and the kriega look like they make the bike really wide
@raffs_adv
@raffs_adv 6 ай бұрын
@@DuRoere if you carry a tent,sleeping mat pillow, sl/bag , cooking stuff and med-kit , clothes and tools/spares you’ll need around 80Ltrs and it’ll weigh about 30+Kg depends on your cooking setup and the amount of clothes, I’ve done 3weeks and 13000klm with Kreiga Os18’s and Kreiga 45Ltr top bag on my T700, and I don’t think the load would be any different on the Crf300
