@@PatchedBandit Yannis is a great rider indeed. You both did very well. The stock tyres are not that bad but the front is unpredictable at times especially on loamy ground and can loose traction with out much warning as you showed on the vid. They are also pretty bad in loose sand. I have had good luck with motoz rallz 90 90 21 and 120 90 18 rear very good all around if a bit noisy on tar

I have enjoyed a bit too much joghurt that is apparent from my face 🤣 Might be a bit too warm already to think about returning to Greece. I'm currently in Bulgaria and weather here is perfect!

@@PatchedBandit Perfect weather, that's great to hear. We had the first summer day this year today. Round Nürnberg on the Transalp and with a friend on his Voge DSX 650. More than 50% trails, legal, not too difficult to ride, rare mud passages. Your trails in Bulgaria should be even more awesome. Good that we have so much gravel & dust at the moment, forcing you to go slower in order to make life for the rider behind easier. One gear higher and I would need better suspension on the old Transalp 600. My predecessor installed a fairly rigid system, I want it more compliant, in order to feeeeeel. And yet it must absorb all the bumps when riding fast. Like your Rally Raid. Enjoy your van & bike life, I'm off to the lakes south of Nürnberg tomorrow, again on the venerable Transalp. That's pretty much what I'm thinking of. Some 80/20 tire to replace the oem rubber... Maybe stay on the track a bit better that way :D Annoying to ride when there is no trust to the tires.

I have been running Trackers for last 2000 km on my CRF300L. Rear seems to be halfway worn, so I would expect total of ~4000 km on the rear with ~40% on asphalt. The front is wearing much slower and I would predict the front tyre to do at least ~8000 km. Grip offroad is much better.

@@PatchedBandit I would say they are quite good for aggressive knobby tyres. It took some time to get used to as it was my first knobby tyres, but now I feel comfortable riding them on tarmac.

I have been looking at those for a while. Just don't know which ones fit the CRF best... and they are pretty expensive!

@@PatchedBandit yes there pretty expensive for plastic mirrors TBH they do smaller enduro type mirrors as well that are a bit cheaper

Fair enough, but that's also how enduro riders transfer weight to the front tyre and get more grip in the corners :)
