Guys to be frank, used to love cricbuzz before, where it was more cricket than just time pass!! There used to be in depth analysis on each event in the match which is what we expect. U have experts, so we need expert opinions on why and what!! We already watched the complete match, so no point in just discussing the highlights!!

Not at all a good advertisement for odi cricket. That was an absolute road. Boult, Hazlewood and starc are amongst the greatest bowlers to have graced the game, all of them were treated like club bowlers. I would any day of the week prefer a low scoring thriller like we had yesterday over matches on national highways. Dharamashala was known for helping pacers. These pitches have been just too batter friendly. There has to be balance between bat and ball.

And I would rather see 400 chased/ defended with bowlers bowling variations and captains trying varied fielding to restrict scoring.

That is not true Cummins and Hazlewood bowled decently, only Starc got beaten badly, that is because he didn't bowl well. And there was help for spinners, should have played more specialist spinners

@@navdeepsinghchauhan7607variations don't matter, if the ball doesn't do anything off the pitch. Ball just sits up on the pitch and you can hit through the line And u can't have 11 fielders on boundary rope to try different fielding positions. Even if prime Wasim Akram and McGrath bowls on that pitch, they would go for 75-80, might pick 2 wickets 800 runs getting scored in a odi match isn't good at all. Nobody would want to be a bowler in odis in future if this continues, bcoz 6 matches out of 10 are being played on flat tracks. It's exactly the opposite in test cricket, where teams struggle to score 250 because of rank turners in the subcontinent.
