Wow im not the only guy on earth that wanted one of these. i feel better now. I bought a broken one on ebay and fixed it. the belt drive gear exploded into 4 pieces so i made a new one. easy fix for a 3D design/ 3D printer guy $75 for a cricut explore air 2 is a heck of a deal. I just need to buy cutters and supplies and i was good to go.

That big round knob on the top of the Cricut allows you to choose material to be cut- this is important. Do this first before you begin cutting.

In my spare bedroom my mom had this for awhile and never learned how to use it so I am deciding to pick up the pieces and try to learn to use it

what I don’t understand, is he put “bite me” underneath the shark- but when cutting out the font on the vinyl, it’s to the right of the shark. (not underneath like it appeared on the app) I guess I’m just struggling with the design app it’s self 🥴🧐🤨😣

I’m new to the circuit family, and I have tried creating a image on vinyl, which I’m able to do but my only issue is removing the image from the vinyl... I tried several times and it still the same result. Do you have any tips to help me remove the vinyl easier? It also looks as if the blade is not cutting deep enough, how do I go about changing that.

Do you take the white backing off the vinyl before laying the sheet down and cutting? I can't seem to get the letters off the sheet with the transfer paper

Ty. ON MINE, There is a clear plastic over the pad that I would lay the colored vinyl on before cutting. Do I remove that protective sheet before placing the colored vinyl for cutting? On the video, I did not see you remove it or talk about it.😢

Good gawd! How much does the vinyl cost? That’s a big waste for just a small image and six letters. Maybe I should take mine back so I’m not throwing away money. Is there a way we can use more of that vinyl in one cut with doing more images and letters in the creator or reuse what’s left of the vinyl (if pealing the shark and bite me out instead)?

Question. So I did all the steps you said but when I got to print it’s telling me to load a black pen in clamp a? Instead of me using the blade in clamp b. How do I fix this issue ?

I'm annoyed with Cricut, my partner bought me the explore 2 and you can't send your design to your cutter via laptop even though it's Bluetooth. What's the point in the Bluetooth? So your in your living room and you've done your design so then you have to walk in the other room where your cricut is and press the flashing go button. I have a Sillouette Cameo 3 and I can send my designs or what ever I'm doing straight to the cutter no matter what room I'm in. I have now found out that the press go function is not activated in the explore 2 only in the explore 3 and the Maker.
