Excellent video and great advice. I am fortunate to have the machine and stand thanks to my daughter gifting me with the stand. I agree having the stand is wonderful, even in my small craft room. I put a large Velcro tie on the cord to easily wrap it. You can get them from office and home improvement supply stores.

I wish Cricut would have released both at the same time! Who wants to get the machine and either keep it boxed, or put it somewhere out of place, until the stand is available.

I have the Siser Romeo so I’m not thinking of adding this machine but…. The stand and anti-static catch basket is brilliant. When I was making large cuts for signs, static was a problem, same with the dog hair you mentioned, so I ended up lint rolling each before using transfer tape and applying them to my base. I also appreciate the additional pop out pieces to hold the mat in the front and the back and having a machine that needs room (supported) in front and back, I can honestly say that’s a huge feature I wish Siser had thought of. I will continue enjoying videos of this machine 😊

The stand was on HSN and it was $349 when the venture was first introduced. I canceled it because I don’t think I need it right away So when it drops in price, I may order it then but for now I think it’s just not something I really need

Totally understandable. I ran it off my worktable just fine!
