Police are on the hunt for those involved in a mass shooting in New Brighton in the Eastern Cape. It's understood six people where shot dead in a house alleged to be a drug den. eNCA reporter Ronald Masinda reports. Courtesy #DStv403

I am from New Brighton and I can gladly tell you that you are talking kak outtie yam, ngumnqundu lo uwuthethayo. It's easy to talk shit when you don't live in and around New Brighton. Everyday, one wakes up not knowing if they will see the next day or not due to the constant shootings. A friend of mine was shot and killed simply for being looking back in 2016, period. Another neighbour of mine was hit by a stray bullet that wasn't even meant for him and died on the spot right in front of his girlfriend on their way to the shop. I was shot at 2 times while fighting off 2 of 3 guys that had broken into my house while my late dad and I were asleep but eventually woke up once we heard footsteps inside the house. Just about everyone owns a gun there these days and they are so trigger-happy. I bet you wouldn't even last a week there with your stupid theory.
