I think that the I.Os should wear something casual like T shirt and jeans/ cargo pants when conducting a stake out at the suspect's place. They can still keep their guns and handcuffs while wearing casual clothes. By wearing office clothes and hanging out at the void deck and lift landings, the suspect from afar will know that they are cops from their attire if they watch crimewatch and flee. 😂

This is the consequence of rioting with intent in causing harm (what more unexpected sudden racial-based attack) - Malays vs Chinese in Singapore, these attacks are not caused by racism but because of drunkenness, unintentional anger and jealousy, which are the main factor of violent aggravated assaults, hope these crimes would not happen again in a multi-racial society!
