So if i summon calamity it has to be cl1 or it will miss time right? So that means that if i activate calamity but then i chain vision resonator my opponent can still answer with a cl3. So i can just resolve calamaity and then activate vision as another chain? Or i have to cl1 vision and then do calamity cl2 (or will it miss time?). Sorry for the questions but I'm trying to understand all the interaction and how to do it properly thanks!

​@@davidecrocetta1999ok, so: The effect of Calamity should ALWAYS be the last chain link you activate because it protects all other links of the chain. Example: you send to the gy Scarred, Vision and another level 2 to summon Calamity. At that point you have 3 effects to activate, and you can chose the order of activation BEFORE your opponent gets a chance to respond because the 3 cards I mentioned (Scarred, Vision and Calamity) meet the activation requirements at the same time. You want to activate Vision and Scarred first and THEN Calamity, because Calamity's effect CANNOT be responded to by your opponent, which means that you can resolve the whole chain without your opponent having the chance to do anything. What you want to have as chain link 1 is ALWAYS Burning Soul. Because if you activate it in response to an effect and summon Calamity, it will miss timing, while if Burning Soul is cl1 Calamity won't miss timing. I hope I was clear enough and that this helps!

Yup unless you have soul in GY to protect, But in the example your referring to (Combo 3) you bring RDA Back during your opps turn so you should after turn skipping them, complete the OTK when turn changes back to you.

sometimes the RDA attempting to blow up your board is a necessary part of the combo because sometimes you wouldn’t have a card banished for dis pater without the soul resonator banishing itself to protect your monsters from RDA

Red Zones pop condition after an opponent activates a card or effect will only be fulfilled if you have the following monsters face up on the field. @AGuyCalledHarry best and cheapest way to start imo is find a budget deck that can be played (sometimes from a structre deck) loads of videos online and this channel) Before you buy however try out the decks online - duelbook.com then you can find a style and deck that works for you and then build from there. Also a "getting started" playlist on the channel with info on how to fet started and back into the game

@garlandwest1115 it's not a bad idea, just very limiting sadly, vision is a kwl additin as it can be summoned for free and in the right set up get you some decent synchros

No worries, The way the text is written is the important part. If a Dragon Synchro Monster is on the field: Special Summon up to 2 monsters, that are "Resonator" monsters and/or Level 1 Dragon monsters, from your Deck. You look at it as 2 different bits "that are Resonators" and/or "level 1 Dragon monsters" the and/or is to allow you to summon any mixture of the 2 (resonators AND/OR Level 1 Dragons)
