I have not done this in Quarry Junction before..... I have however repeatedly gotten jump scared sitting in my high towers trying to snipe them. By stacking bonuses there is actually a solution to this. one shot kills on regular death claws, don't ask me how many times I died trying to use a regular sniper though. Anti material rifle + explosive rounds, high enough strength to handle it, sneak bonus, and lastly headshots.

I've never had the feeling that enemies ever move slower from me crippling their legs. *I* move slower, my companions move slower, but never the enemy it seems.

I've noticed it with human enemies, but never deathclaws. Those things seem to be capable of shoving that broken femur right back in place and charging at you at a speed that would be illegal on most roadways.

Depends on the enemy One leg is the same speed reduction aswell two Deathclaws it's a significant speed reduction Humans its minimal And then those tunneler enenies in the divide don't slow whatsoever

Deathclaws are fast enough that it's way more noticeable. I had to abuse leg crippling to deal with the giant deathclaw in Fallout 4. It actually turns deathclaws into a joke.

@@PaxJurassicus ironic, since crippling Deathclaw's legs in Fallout 3/NV turns them into slowpokes. Only exceptions are the Alpha Male (who still gets slowed down 3 times from his regular speed) and Deathclaw Mother, who you can still outrun if you cripple her, though it's harder.

@@bossofall98It's actually not in New Vegas (to my knowledge) it's in Fallout 3. What it does is cripple any targets legs in one shot. Making em slow which is damn useful against any melee enemies

@@Yorikoification Yeah. That unique weapon was so Overpowered, find the blueprints, craft it and you win the game. It cripples 99% of the time, and the ammo is so easy to get more of.

@@bossofall98It’s actually in Fallout 3, not New Vegas, it’s a very low damage weapon, BUT it makes up for it with it’s insanely strong ability to cripple limbs right away. And once a Deathclaw can’t close on you, it ceases to be a threat.
