@@jstdun She can pretty much one-shot you with every attack, and its a VERY long fight

@@nhathoangminh6641 will attempt it one day. It was a grind on normal mode. But not very difficult. I think Minerva has more moves in hard mode that debuff the auto-phoenix down.

One could even say to beat her to the punch is....costly.

This is only normal mode. On Hard she has 77 million no joke. its 30+ mins minimum dodging her dispelling move.

Yup, the point of enhancing the PSP graphics to PS4 was to give more detail to almost every visible thing in the game.

This boss I did use Gil toss and SP Turbo (and Turbo Attack) and Attack with High Jump and regular attacks. I was more concerned with dishing out as much damage as possible. Well done for doing it on hard mode in Reunion, I ended up having to switch to Normal difficulty for the fight, so much of a slog it was in Hard mode and it simply was getting frustrating and long. (And it was a New Game Plus.)

Makes it worse. This man did literally everything solo came back unscratched most of the time from his missions. Truly plot was the only way to killed our boy Zack 🥺

Best part is that while he's being hunted down those people are still sending him on side missions.

The goddess of the FF7 universe

Minerva is Gaia - the FF7 planet itself. The actual Goddess of the lifestream. My theory is that Jenova and Lucrecia are merely Minerva's physical incarnations to bring about Sephiroth and Vincent into existence and awaken their godly abilities. Sephiroth controls all the Nova (Light) energy while Vincent controls all the Gravija (Dark) energy, both sons of Minerva are manipulated into becoming invincible and mandated to be at opposing ends by this original mother. All because she, as mother nature herself, is innately conflicted. So her intents consequently send all the FF7 planetary humans and weapons on a wild goose chase of what courses are rightful for the planet. I hope Zack actually busts her up at this point for all the mess she has created in the FF7 universe.

She was not impossible. The item you could steal from her was 99 phoenix feathers. What I did was use them instead of potions because all her attacks one shot me, and that way I was able to beat her several times

@@trifortay never said it would beat judgment arrow. You still have to weaken or break the limit bar line any other. It's useful because you can literally dodge any other attack and close gaps with it

Depends on your build and difficulty setting On normal with the righg gear? No not really On hard? Absolutely (unless you grind a ton of sp and gil and use those to speed through the fight)

It's a side-mission, main game is relatively easy to beat. Original game was better.

Normally I would agree but to be fair this is a pretty horribly designed boss. There’s no actual skill required at all it’s just locked behind a grind wall. Definitely can’t blame people for beating her on normal tbh just to get the trophy.

@autumn2ashes211 yeah, but even with max stats and protect ring, she still does max 99,999 damage. She literally impossible on hard mode.

@Kevin Burke not impossible. Use high jump to avoid the ice move and Ultima but on hard it's basically just a torture fest where you have to play perfect and costly punch her like 800ish times

@BubbsGold what about when she uses judgment arrows? I can't seem to get the damage down on that even with 99,999 damage. She seems to hit that much each time and she does judgment arrows within a single second so I don't have time to break the meter.

@Kevin Burke I don't know why you're having such an issue. Usually you have enough time to hit 2 or 3 times before she fires. Another thing you can try is gill toss. It hits multiple times and you can outright stop the limit as opposed to getting to 50% to reduce it

It’s literally just costly punch and max healing items lol. It’s nothing special. But to win agains Minerva is rewarding.

Why is that cheating? He's using the items the game gave him. Costly punch is amazing with certain enemies. And it's costs HP to use it so it's not like it's giving him some exaggerated buff

It's a remaster not a remake.
