From what remember Angeal was used for an experiment for Geneva cells to create who saphiroth has become But no matter if had Geneva cells or not There is no way angeal will be like shapiroth at all

I'm still bummed we never got to just fight Angeal himself. You get a straight up fight against Sephiroth and Genesis, hell, through Hojo you fight Zack twice too, but Angeal becomes a big monster. I think it would have been cooler if we fought real Angeal, then he did his "Let me show you" yadda yadda thing and we fought Penance. Kinda the inverse of Genesis starting as a big monster, then having a one on one sword fight.

Kind of ironic that Sephiroth was born the same way as Angeal, Lucrecia also gave birth when she was implanted with Jenova cells, but Angeal got a bit of insanity instead of Sephiroth being the bad guy

Not exactly. Angeal gained Jenova cells through just inheriting them from Gillian. Sephiroth was directly injected with Jenova cells as a fetus.

Angels was never insane, he hated what he was, and was torn between the duty to his family, to Midgar, and was burdened with the truth of everything In the end, he groomed Zack to defeat himself and Genesis, entrusting the honor he couldn’t have to him

Calebs voice can work for zack. I think its mostly just his delivery on some lines and how nasally he can sound at times. Hope he can improve on it abit more.

I done 80% of the missions before this point and when I fight Genesis and Angiel I just throw couple of dark blizzaga and they died so easily 😂 I feel so bad.

Hm i just materia fused for barrier in the remake. Maybe that'll help. Not sure if you need shell too if it's magic defense but barrier gives physical protection. I did rage quit at original and gave this another try on sale.

Caleb Pierce playing Zack in Reunion makes me sad. He was good as him in FFVIIR, but I take blame to the voice director which forced fans to scour the modding community to add in the OG voice acting. At least the actors to Angeal, Heisenburg, Cloud, and Tifa tried their hardest, but for Sephiroth, there will be no one who'll rival the same deep voice as George Newbern(and in Kingdom Hearts for Xemnas, Paul St. Peter to be specific, same goes with Axel and Quinton Flynn for the raspy).

George Newbern as Sephiroth was not good, ever. Play a game with good voice acting and you'll hear how wooden it is. Listen to FFXIV VO after A Realm Reborn and its night and day. Maybe it was the direction but there has never been a good Sephiroth performance by Newbern

@@LowSkillPlays Well it is my opinion, and the fact that Sephiroth had similarities to Superman, since both are voiced by Newbern. It's fine if you hate the OG voice of Sephiroth, but before Newbern voiced him, the One Winged Angel himself was played by a former NSYNC member who isn't JT in the first Kingdom Hearts game.

If you didn't know what Final Fantasy was, is this a good game from the series? They did a remake, I understand they woulnd't do a remake if game had no sales before but we are used to playing more than 1 characther so this is why I'm asking. ty for answers in advance.

I can speak for myself, when i was young this game was my introduction to the FF series and reunion is so MUCH better than the original in terms of gameplay. It does have some very outdated/weird lines and unfortunately Caleb Pierce, despite doing a great job (HUGE shoes he had to fill, Rick Gomez interpretation of Zack is just perfect), doesnt deliver some specific ones as well as Rick Gomez which helped hide the poor writing some lines have. But all in all, it is a super fun game, has a good story and an emotional ending, I would recommend it as an intro to the final fantasy series at least.

Thing is Reunion has new voice lines recorded for those scenes that were previously text only in the original. If they add back in the old voices then they'll have to intentionally make everyone mute again in those scenes that have no old audio to draw from.

this is using the remake Buster Sword design, the original Crisis Core design was pretty much only used in crisis core itself (and in some media where Zack appears) even though it is my favourite. Kinda sad they made it the same as remake in this game, but i understand it

Just beat it at level 19 and it felt impossible at first because his tail attack kept one shotting me lmao. But I beat it after like 12 or so tries. Basically just couldn’t get hit at all by that attack and had to spam cure. I guess you really do gotta do the side missions in this game lol

@@tehCostHD yeah you do those side missions help alot with leveling up and getting better materia like cura,blizzaga and thundaga that’s how I beat him spammed cura and kept hitting him with blizzaga plus my hp was well over 2,000 I also had plenty of potions and ether to top of my mp and hp when I needed it

I'm not the only one who thinks that? It did seem a little forced pre-time skip, but it sounded better after he adapted his more serious demeanour after Angeal's death (That's to say, closer to the voice he used for Integrade)

Clear all the side missions and come back stronger. I beat it at level 19 but it felt impossible at first

Some lines are decent, others are not. I wouldn't say the new VA is bad, but Rick Gomez was better as Zack.

Fighting against multiple assaults ( bullets, missiles, grenades ) coming from everywhere when you have to protect and hide Cloud in the meantime, with only a sword ( no magic ), impossible to keep up for long 😟

How did they manage to use that blizzard on his big attack??!? I’ve been trying to beat him with Blizzara and dark fira but im not making much damage. These mechanics of this game is annoying and nothing like the FF7 remake. Sure, I had issues in that game, but those mechanics were really not that bad compared to this one. Whoever said this game was a masterpiece is wrong. I hate the mechanics of this game and I wish they could’ve made it similar to the remake of FF7. I’m getting frustrated trying to beat this guy and I’m tired of these stupid missions and monsters popping out of nowhere like in those Pokémon games

It's based on timing, I always made sure I was out of the way and spammed Dark Blizzara whenever I saw him charging his attack
