Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion Zack the Sniper Trophy Guide / Achievement Guide - Did not allow a single gun bull head to escape while sniping. [Bronze]
Chapter 9
After leaving Nibelheim, you will go down a hill and have to shoot robots with sniper rifles. You have to kill all robots at sniping spots without any of them escaping. If you alert them and take too long they will run away after a short time. Aim for the head as it does enough damage to instantly kill all the regular ones. After fully upgrading the rifle you can also aim for their shields as they are easier to hit and the fully upgraded damage still deals good damage plus staggers the robots on each hit. There are no checkpoints during this minigame, if a robot escapes you must reload the last autosave to respawn at the start and redo everything.
1st sniper will have 1 stationary robot.
2nd sniper will have 1 stationary robot.
3rd sniper will have 2 moving robots.
After the 3rd sniper run back and forth to farm kills on normal robots and fully upgrade your sniper rifle before triggering the 4th sniping spot.
4th sniper will have 3 moving robots in the distance, kill the one on the right first, then left, then middle.
5th sniper requires going right at the split in the road, it has 3 stationary robots that you can instantly kill by shooting the barrel.
6th sniper is down the road on the left with 2 boss robots: BIGGS and WEDGE, who have 9999 HP each. With a fully upgraded rifle it will take 3 headshots to kill one, and you can simply fire a smart bomb to kill the other one.
7th sniper is at the next split on the left with 3 robots. Quickly kill them before they retreat, with fully upgraded damage you can simply shoot their shields which staggers them but still kills them quickly (this is easier than trying headshots and missing).
8th sniper is the final one, it’s when you follow the road to the right. Shoot the barrel near the left robot, then headshot the other two or just shoot their shields quickly. If they try to retreat, you may be able to hit the barrel to stop them.
Continue to the end of the section and the trophy will pop before the next save point.

This is the best moment in game. So beautiful to see Zack's sense of friendship, doing everything to protect Cloud. Playing this game 15 years later still gets me. I wish I had a friend like Zack.

Thanks! It was very easy. Just the small grind to upgrade the weapon to max and it’s nearly impossible to miss and mess it up. I was worried I’d end up messing everything up and restarting but knowing how many robots here helped greatly so thank you again!

Agreed ! The aiming accuracy is WAY to sensitive . Just nipping the control makes it move very quick

You can run past #7. As long as you reach the end with counter 0 escapes, trophy pops.

this sucked. the 3rd set always messed me. 3rd attempt went fine. when i made it to the 8th snipe. i was able to buy another bomb. so i barrel, sniped, bombed. done. thank you Powerpyx

I'm on the ps4 version and the set of them at 5:16 don't exist for me. No gun or anything. I was worried i messed something up and would lose out last second but i still got the trophy so not sure what's up with that

For last spot I recommend Killing the one on the right and then simply bomb the two on left plus barrel if missed

Well... In French version L1 is just translated as "Vitesse de la caméra " ( Camera speed) and as in most sniping game the speed button is hold your breath... I was really disturbed first time it s should " accélérer la caméra" to match "speed up camera"

Can I switch off hardmode and do this and switch back ? Or what is the best Materia for hardmode ? You are one shotting the ones in battle, and It takes me 3/4 hits with Hell Blizzaga/ Hell Firaga each to kill. I want this achieve but don't want to messup my hardmode achieve

What an annoying trophy, I had to reset three times after a robot would escape during a battle Two things to know for anyone who wants to try this: 1. Like everyone has said, you can completely skip the 7th group of robots and the trophy will still pop 2. Despite what the trophy claims about it pertaining only to sniping, having robots escape during normal battles DOES count and you will fail the trophy, even if you sniped perfectly and had no escapes (I learned the hard way). So, be very careful and fight quickly when you do the farming/proceed along the path and run into battles

I wish I had read the legend at the bottom of the sighting screen earlier. I spent 30 min trying and resetting before I realized I could zoom in. Teaches me to read ev-er-y menu. I am pretty focused on reading the mail messages and mission descriptions but wasted my time here. .

I was just locked into this and had to use multiple MP% and just spammed Hell Firaga. Took a while to get it going and make sure to use ethers to refill mana.

Technically yes. The overpowered trophy for dealing 99999 damage. The limit is 9999 until you upgrade your buster sword proficiency enough to unlock the damage limit break ability.

I got this issue too. But when i restarted and got to the 3rd sniper spot, I took out the patrol first, then walked around and the robots started spawning on both sides.
