You won't believe how crispy these turn out when cooked in the air fryer! With just a can of chickpeas (but better make it 2) and 5 ingredients, you can make these crunchy, tasty, filling chickpeas in 15 minutes. These are good as is or you can top on salad or stuff in pita! It's packed with protein and fiber, this will be your favorite go-to snack!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cans of chickpeas
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
drizzle of olive oil
1 Heat air fryer to 390°F / 200°C.
2 Drain and rinse chickpeas (save the liquid for another recipe*) Pat dry with paper towels but better to airdry for 10 minutes or more in a baking sheet. Once dried, toss spices and drizzle olive oil.
3 Dump the whole batch of chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking a couple of times to evenly cook each chickpea.
4 When chickpeas are cooked to your liking, remove from air fryer, taste and add more salt and pepper to taste.
