I think the folding method you are using isn't correct .it's not authentic.when folding first you have to leave some area outside the rectangle shape sheet and the rest normal steps.hope this helps 3:50

Thaw means, bringing back to room temperature. It will become soft so that you can fold it. Otherwise it wil break.

I have just put the remaining sheets in the same packet and just folded on the top and stapled tightly without any gap as I didn't have a big ziploc cover and kept in the freezer.

Oil should be hot.. If you fry on low or medium flame, it will stay in the oil a longer time and absorbs more oil

It is not healthy as it is made from maida ...can have occasionally as we can make at home hygienically instead of buying from outside.

Sorry to hear that. You should thaw properly until it becomes soft. I think you have not thawed properly. If it is slightly hard also, it will break
