Vivid description on point. Absolutely relate. Dark, lonely strange, zombie, symptoms omgosh I remember these feelings. Still get them from time to time but now I know what it is.. still not always easy to get out. Like a "stuck" ish feeling and when you're out of it you're like...how on earth? What the hell was that. How did I snap out. It's like you were hypnotized while being Wired and or tired and so exhausted.

Cristian is genuinely a kind, compassionate and caring human! We were in another program together and he went out of his way to contact me since he was concerned about my well being. The things we do when we are desperate and with your perseverance and courage you are on the other side! BTW...I do remember you talking about walking your dog around 2am wondering what your neighbors thought. You Rock Coach Cristian!! Thank you🤩

Hey, I have a question! Lately, I've been doing pretty well with my sleep habits and have not had a bad night in a long time, thanks in part to this channel! However, I've noticed a recurring issue: I often find myself staying up later than I'd prefer, wanting to ensure that I'm sufficiently tired or relaxed enough to fall asleep quickly. While it's not necessarily a problem because I don't experience intense anxiety and generally fall asleep well, I'm frustrated because I'd like to go to bed whenever I want to like I used to before struggling with insomnia. Instead, I find myself staying up late, watching TV or KZfaq, almost waiting to feel really sleepy. I think it's a way to avoid the anxiety of going to bed early when I am not fully relaxed because the fear of not being able to sleep because I'm not tired enough. This pattern has me monitoring my circadian rhythm to ensure I'll be able to sleep at the right time. So, my question is: Should I try to sleep earlier when I want to, even if I'm not particularly sleepy, because I have to wake up early tomorrow or because my roommate is going to bed early, or simply because I feel like this is a good time to go to bed? Or should I continue staying up later than I'd like, as long as I'm sleeping well? Like maybe try to become at peace with sleeping later than I'd like because thats not a problem? Im sure many other people have struggled with this issue so was just wondering what you would suggest!

So happy to hear you are sleeping well. Sometimes waiting for cues before going to bed can make it so the brain now starts monitoring for those cues and that can become a sleep effort. 🙏

The unnamed sleep specialist who appeared on the Joe Rogan Show, had no robust evidence to support his claims. But neither did the woman who diagnosed Cristian with “severe PTSD”. People, we gotta stop playing with pseudo-science, or at least recognize the limitations of the scientific method… In any case, it’s great to hear that Cristian is now sleeping better.

This is such a wonderful success story. I got emotional a few times listening to it. I’ve been there and I get it! I’ve been thinking about becoming a Sleep Coach for over a year now after overcoming my own struggles after 3 years of insomnia. Are there more reviews from sleep coaches who became certified through your program? I would love to learn about their success in terms of creating a business as a professional Sleep Coach upon certification. Finally, is your coaching school accredited? Thank you!

Hello Coach Daniel, let me ask, previously I suffered from insomnia for quite a long time, starting around the end of last February. One more thing, I also suffer from hypochondria which might make my insomnia worse, until I found your channel when I was trying to find out what causes insomnia, more precisely when I discovered a disease called FFI and SFI which made me quite panicked and experienced anxiety for days. until I found your playlist which discussed this disease and I decided to watch some videos from your playlist and it was quite helpful in overcoming my anxiety. Until the next few days I felt anxious again because at that time I saw an Instagram post which discussed quite a lot about the impact of lack of sleep, one of which is type 2 diabetes. The reason is, the post explained that lack of sleep can inhibit the production of insulin in the body so that it can triggers the risk of type 2 diabetes. Which makes me wonder whether I am at risk of developing this disease considering that I often experience lack of sleep at night? I hope you read my Comments and replies, Coach😊😊 Thank you and sorry if my English is a bit messy

Hi, some advice from someone who has in the past struggled from insomnia I would not pay attention to anything that invokes fear of not sleeping. Typically any negative side effect is a result of stress, which can be heightened when you are tired. So worrying about not sleeping actually stresses you out more and makes it worse. However if you stop worrying about not sleeping none of these illnesses you have seen online would appear! Hope this helps!

When we hear the stories we can see there is overdrive gas and break and the nervous system has been disrupted. I been through a divorce with a bully and still have to communicate with him so a lot of difficulties. These stresses cause us nervous system issues hence hormones and so on. Ice baths breathing deep it’s all nonsense because for someone with heightened cortisol levels that needs to be released just canceling some appointments and relaxing the most you can can help bring the system down follow you impulse on what you body says no to and you say yes to. Gabor Mate is wonderful also on trauma stored trauma in body. Daniel certainly helped my sleep. I did end up finding nervous system work also via somatic work and experiencing which many practitioners out there but you want to find the right kind.

Daniel what are your thoughts on nervous system deregulation due to trauma and upset. This is a pattern with insomnia patients like cfs also. It can be a viscous cycle and breathing can make it worse as you will hear in many brain retraining programs. Hyper vigilance is a symptom of a deregulated nervous system the gas and break model is precise as both the sympathetic system and the parasympathetic system may be running at the same time. So interesting what you share with you success stories this may be going deeper and further then just sleep. You’re helping people regulate their nervous system.

It’s nervous system deregulation that’s why ice baths DO NOT WORK NOR DOES DIET OR ANYTHING ELSE! Literally people have alot of stored trauma or deregulated nervous system Daniels program certainly helps with parts of this for sleep. But it’s all about returning to the self our daily impulses things we repress so much gentle work can be done to regulate the system. Being a parent certainly makes sleep hard for many reasons.
