A billion ads later, Ronaldo is on point here. The fact that Utd hadn't evolved past Ferguson, i.e. facilities, managers, tech and even food, can you imagine how he felt after coming back from Real and Juve? It's so true that youngsters aren't the same - they're too distracted by money, agents, social media and fame, which is why they will have no longevity as their focus isn't on progress. He leads by example everywhere he goes and if the youth can't take note from a 'living proof' god of the game, once they reach Ronaldo's age, they'll be presenting tacky TV shows and nowhere near the pitch. Losing a father and a twin child, while dealing with toxic media is a lot to go through and he deserves praise and respect. Utd really should've built around him and not just plonked him into a failing team, expecting miracles. I'm certain he's had a bundle of offers (who wouldn't want him in their team?). It'd be nonsense for Mid.East to be the only interest, the media just won't tell you otherwise. He's, hands down, better than Utd (yep, I said it) and should do everything in his power to win the WC and retire. If he doesn't, I'd love to see him at Arsenal in Jan and go on to win the league.

Not sure the fairy tale is Ronaldo joining Arsenal or Arsenal winning the league!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 By your logic, if he is better than utd, then surely he is better than Arsenal too who never top the league for the last 15 years!!

@@rishikuna19 again, he's better than Utd (both on and off the pitch) and should go to a better team. Arsenal are clearly better than Utd and, with Ronaldo, it's highly likely they'll win as they'll play/build around him the right way.

I don't follow football, actually I would rather watch paint dry but when all the negativity about Ronaldo surfaced I was intrigued especially being the best player of all time at being asked to play 3 minutes. This interview was an extraordinary look at what it is to be a star and how to remain a human being. Today Manchester United are taking legal advice on how to get rid of him without paying out his contract and to them I say; respect begets respect and I hope you choke on your legal fees! What a fantastic human being. Well done Cristiano for having and retaining your moral compass.

Well, he's not even the best player of his generation. In any case, he certainly hasn't remained humble. He displayed so many narcissistic traits here, while showing his ego is out of control. Some of what he said showed he has decent aspects to him, but a lot shows he thinks he's better than others, given him bragging about his wealth, his refusal to play, while he thought he was above being punished. Fact is, he has acted unprofessionally by disrespecting his manager and teammates. He has done this interview simply to get out of the club so he can get a move to another team.

Some irony here in that the perception of CR in the last couple of years has been so negatively influenced by the media, as he demonstrates in this interview, however the outcome of the interview itself which was, for the most part, quite insightful, factual and reasonable is all negative headlines... Great interview! Sometimes even the examplary guy needs to show teeth and tell the truth to protect his morals.. This goes to show that the media, the sports industry and these big corporations are out of control they treat human beings like robots who are not EVER allowed to malfunction.. I actually think this was a time where a legend that keeps showing and proving the world for years on end, needed a break because his f******* kid died and the other was sick and a respectful company will allow that especially if you've literally braught them back from the grave when your 37 in EPL.. So congrats to my boy for saying f*** it and telling the truth because yes it was time and the REAL CR7 fans will support him especially now more than ever! Viva ronaldo!!! 🙌🏾💪🏾

@@ditheo1866 I doubt that tbh. They will just get rid of him asap. The rest of the team back ten hag and so do the glazers. This is just one man thinking he can have everything his own way. United are going in the right direction but in the prem it takes time. They are more likely to just throw him under the bus just to set an example than let him get his own way. If it was my business i would do the same as im sure most would. Would you let an employee tell you how to run your business? Of course you wouldn't and noone else would. Hes just a player, 1 of many. He doesn't control anything at the club like he seems to think he does. Whether he and fans like it or not football clubs are businesses. Designed to generate money and provide entertainment whilst doing so. He and fans need to respect that. He is not the best player in the squad nor in his current position right now. I think most of Ronaldo's problems stem from the death of his baby. reading between the lines he didn't receive any help to deal with the grief. He and his partner helped themselves, which is good, but its only been about 6 months they will still be grieving. He is still playing football, and hardly having a break, not good for anyone. Maybe if is sacked from UTD he takes a good long break away from things to sort this issue out.

Talksport pay the rights to post the interview on this channel, unfortunately they don't get the numbers they expected. Only 37k viewers? People already watch it on Pierce Morgan's channel won't bother to view it again. Heck, most people's probably like me, only bother to watch the first part. And probably lots of people not watch it to finish too haha

Ten hag will need to take the arsenal and ajax approach and develop young players to compete because in reality other top stars will look at ten hag now as clueless and can’t manage elite players. United won’t sign any now.

*Messi is like a bamboo that instinctively bends with the wind while Ronaldo is like a piece of hardwood that needs external assistance! It's a false and illogical argument that Ronald is better because he has played in more than one league. If true, there would be hundreds of players who are better than Messi or Ronaldo! That's manifestly absurd! Messi is not only a legendary scorer, he is also a play maker! Ronaldo's scoring is dependent on the passing of others. Messi can create goals out of virtually thin air! He is a virtuoso!*

Hopefully there arent alot of people out there who have to go through what Ronaldo and his family had to go through with his baby. It's heartbreaking for him, and nobody wants to see anyone have to go through this. Did he come back too early? Has he had time to properly grieve? Only he can answer, but from the messages he and Jorge Mendes sent last year, United were very supportive, as well as giving him extended leave from his off-season. Alot of what he says you can agree with - most United fans have been criticising the lack of investment in the facilities for years (remember the leaky roof?!). This isn't something new, but hopefully it will get the glazers to act. I agree with him on the mentality of the youth coming through. The Rooney and Neville comments are just bizarre. But having a go at the current Manager, the guy who has just started in the job and begun the long road of recovery for us, is unforgivable in my eyes. Lets not forget, Ronaldo handed in a transfer request over the summer and was trying everything to leave. The transfer window closed on the 1st September. So we had a player that openly wanted to leave, who hadn't played any pre-season, in our matchday squad for the first 5 league games of the season (he even started 1 game) while the transfer window is still open. Would any other club do this? Brighton (Sub) - 37mins played Brentford - 90 mins (remember this performance/result?!) Liverpool - (Sub) 4 mins Southampton (Sub) 22 mins Leicester (Sub) 22 mins Transfer window shuts - Ronaldo stays. Since then, he's started 9 games, sub for 4 and unavailable for 3. Can anyone show me where the disrespect is here, to a 38 year old, in a congested season when minutes need to be managed for everyone? Only 7 United players have played more minutes than him this season. And that's with him being unavailable for 3 games and actively trying to leave while another 5 were played. Arsenal (Sub) 32 mins Sociedad - 90 mins Sheriff - 90 mins Man City (Sub) 0 mins Nicosia - 90 mins Everton - (Sub) 61 mins Nicosia - 90 mins Newcastle - 72 mins Tottenham (Sub) - refused to come off the bench Chelsea - suspended by club Sheriff - 90 mins West Ham - 90 mins Sociedad - 90 mins Villa (Captain) - 90 mins Villa - Unavailable (Illness) Fulham - Unavailable (Illness) Given that ETH is trying to install some actual discipline in the club, the fact that he is surprised that he was suspended for 3 days for refusing to come off the bench and leaving the stadium is unbelievable. Every club in the world would do this... Hopefully for all involved we can rip up the contract and Ronaldo can find a club where he can be happy and the main man. He deserves to end his career on a high note, not this..

You talk about him as if he was just a random 37 year old, not a 5 time Balon d'Or winner, last year's top scorer, one of the greatest players of all time who's still extremely fit and looks after himself better than almost anybody. You talk like it's just some random person whining about pre-season when he actually lost a baby in spring and had his daughter in hospital in the summer. Yet he is still the first person at the training ground and the last to leave. When you have CR7 in your team he is not sitting on the bench or coming on as a sub for 3 minutes. That's just a fact. Everybody had to know that when they signed him. ETH did disrespect him, very much. Nonetheless I still think he's the best coach for United right now. But somebody should have been an intermediary between the two of them.

Piers was right about ETH, and everyone knows all about it that ETH is a hothead and he has disliked Ronaldo ever since he was unable to make it to pre-season. ETH doesn't believe and doesn't care about Ronaldo's reasoning that his daughter was sick. That way ETH punished him and humiliated him by always putting Ronaldo on the bench a lot. ETH wants to show that he is bigger than Ronaldo, I’m the Boss. ETH often humiliates Ronaldo on the field but always says good things about Ronaldo in the media which is completely a lie and everybody around the world knows. And the climax was when he humiliated Ronaldo to the whole world by ordering him to warm up from the first half, but Ronaldo was ordered to play only 3 minutes before the end of the match. Ronaldo is not stupid, it's pretty obvious that ETH just wants to humiliate him. The coach of Tottenham once said that Tottenham always loses when Ronaldo plays. So because of that, ETH wanted to show Antonio Conte that he can win without Ronaldo. And after he knew that MU would win for sure, he showed to Conte “here is Ronaldo that you said MU was always won because of Ronaldo, I’m gonna play him in the last minute like he is stupid” and ETH was happy and laughed so hard in his head. ETH wants the world to know that he is bigger than Ronaldo, MU can win without Ronaldo and he can do anything to humiliate Ronaldo at any time. Ronaldo is an ordinary human being, it is very difficult for all players even as class as Ronaldo to be able to score goals if there is no good energy around him, it is very difficult. The main reason ETH doesn’t like Ronaldo because he thought that Ronaldo didn’t respect him to not showing up in pre-season. And since that day, ETH has made a promise to himself that he will never put respect to Ronaldo anymore. And to show to Ronaldo that he is the Boss and MU can win without him. ETH is a vengeful type of person, a person who is very difficult to forgive someone. Even though he already knew that Ronaldo couln’t attend to pre-season because his daughter was sick and had to accompany her. ETH didn't accept it because he felt that Ronaldo think that he is the highest and the most important player in MU. That what ETH thought about Ronaldo, which is not true. Now People can see the truth from this interview. Much respect for you, RONALDO. We believe that you’ll shine again soon. And we believe u can prove it in the world cup. We support you, stay strong and humble. You’re a truly Legend and GOAT 🐐 Hope Portugal 🇵🇹 will be the champion in the world cup.

Ronaldo, both as a player and as as a person is more successful than Ten Hag as a player, as a coach and in any other area of life. Ten Hag is just being disrespectful.
