Even when my son wasn’t tired we would still do his nighttime routine at the same time every night to let him know it’s time for bed. Babies thrive on routine so don’t be afraid to set a specific time for his bed time ❤

Yes same with my son.. it takes a bit but, once it is introduced and keep trying you finally succeed and it is WELL WORTH IT! For baby and parents

yes my son, been having his bedtime routine since he was born and he's almost 2. He goes to bed when we go to bed everyday at 9:30pm it's awesome cause I have so much time to myself 😊

She totally is. ♡ I will miss her! Been a sub for several years, since she was dancing and giving us tours of her bedroom (I even went out and bought silver furniture like hers, bcz I thought it was so pretty), then her first apartment, then her stripper clothes, buying her building, etc. 😊 But I'm not a mom...can't relate to the vids anymore so figured it was time to move on. 😢

Advice from a nanny: during bed time create a daily schedule such as rocking him, reading him a book and giving him some milk. Keep the tvs off and the lights dark, it will help him fall asleep. Also try to limit long evening naps. Wake him up if he naps after 4pm. I hope you read my comment and this helps you ❤

Hey nanny need to have reconitopn. Nanny do a lot sometimes way morethen moms. Shout out for Nannys you rock ❤ I am still in contact with my childhood nanny. She tough my colors myAbcs. Yes being a nanny is a rewarding job you also build close relationships with the kids.

Moms are hero’s❤ I recommend to not let your baby take a nap past 4 if you want them to go to bed early. If my 1 year old daughter takes a late nap she’ll be up til 2am as well 😫 Also, I would try to replace tv with books that late or just let them run around to get the rest of their energy out. The screen naturally keeps your mind running so it’s harder to wind down and get tired. You got this!

Yes, this helped me too! Capping naps at 2:30-3pm. We also started a very consistent bedtime routine at 13 months (dinner, no screen time after that, bath, pjs, book, bed). It was an adjustment and I was apprehensive but my little one did really well and now falls asleep every night at 7:45-8pm. He’s 2.5 yrs old. Do what’s best for you! You are doing amazing!

Happy that you learned that as a mother sometimes all you can do is care for your baby. Definitely one of the most important lessons to learn as a mother to not take it so hard on yourself. Youre doing great! 🙏💕🥰

As a new mom with a now 18 month old. I feel ya ! One thing that really changed the game for me was developing a night time routine. My son goes to bed around 8-830. And i get some me time at night.

Consistent night routine. No tv. My one was 5-6pm dinner then bath then a little quiet cuddle with a bottle and bed by 7-8. No late naps. My daily routine didn’t change much so she knew what to expect. Lunch then nap after. I didn’t have a tv so I think that a big issue too.

hi loveee 🤍 i just wanted to recommend a winding down night routine for you and your baby! maybe turn on some lullaby music, put away toys “with” him and turn the lights low and give him his warm bottle at around the same time every night just to get him ready to sleep. of course you know best but i know when the night comes around you are for sure exhausted from all your mommy duties. remember, you set the rules for your baby and once the routine becomes consistent, it will benefit you so much. you look gorgeous as always!

That’s absolutely true and It works, my baby is 8 months old and I apply this since he was 2 months , he goes to sleep at 8:30pm and wake up around 7:30am, all babies are different but we need our space and also babies love routines, try it, I’m a new mommy and I know we don’t like to others tell us what to do but this is a good recommendation and we take it or leave it

You need to create a night time routine for Aziz as many other people have said in the comment. He shouldn’t be napping past 4 o clock if he’s going to be ready to go to sleep for the night. Give him dinner, a bath, ready for bed, read a book, rock him while he has a bottle and put him in the crib with white noise playing. Even if he isn’t tired continue doing this so he gets used to it. Babies need routine to understand what they need to be doing at what time. Hope this helps and the late nights stop 🥰🥰

I love the little inspirational quote you put at the beginning. My son is also turning 1 soon - the second week of April. It's actually amazing how much you have accomplished in addition to all the first-time mom duties - the videos, photoshoots, party panning, launching a new business, renovations, etc.

@@CristinaVillegas I feel like I never had post-partum depression, but have definietly experienced pp anxiety, cause so much effort goes into every little basic need my son has . Honestly it is such a blessing cause I love my little man, that is my best friend. But when I try to do extra stuff on top of the basic needs, like planning his bday party, an outing to the park, or planning my next career move, that's when the stress/anxiety can kick in. You are not alone xox ps. your son is so so adorable

Pardon me bc I may be overstepping…but…be careful playing house. If you want marriage, do not allow a man to become comfortable having you do wife stuff (cooking, cleaning, taking care of his baby/babies) without commitment. Financial commitment if something happens to him on the road, you are entitled to compensation. Again forgive me. I’ve watched many women get caught up in the playing house cycle

My daughter was a late sleeper until we put her into preschool & she had an actual routine. Now she falls asleep at 7pm everyday & wakes up at 7am. It’s a long day but we get a few hours to clean up & relax before we go to bed too. The soup looked yummy! My mother in law makes it for my daughter a few times a week 😊❤ love to see how much you’ve embraced motherhood! As tuff as it can be sometimes, you’re doing a great job!

At about this age I would take my lil one swimming a couple of times a week.Not only did it give me time to meet other parents but also it helps burn off lots of energy they have at this age. Weekly and set day routines really help.You do an awesome job.

I do not miss sleep regressions 😂 but I feel for you lol not letting my kids fall asleep with the tv on was what helped us a ton though. I noticed the nights I had it on, they would take forever to fall asleep because it would overstimulate their falls. Put him in his room with the lights off and a sound machine and read him some stories or play some classical music. I have 2 of the worlds worst sleepers and that always helped, plus cuddles with me lol

Aww thank you so much !! And omg yes my boyfriend surprised me with that trip for his birthday and it ended up being sooo bad :( the baby got sick while we were gone with a 105 fever and was in the hospital so we had to come home early I was scared to travel before he turned 1 and everyone told me it would be okay and than he gets sick so now I’m terrified to travel again without him 😭

@CristinaVillegas oh no 😩. I hope he's better now. As a mom it never feels like the right time to make plans for yourself but you definitely need it. Please don't feel bad you'll soon learn that with kids its always unpredictable. It's important to make time for you and bf alone so try to squeeze it in whenever you can. Sending hugs your way because I know just how stressful it can be when one of our babies is sick.

Girl trust me it’s hard depending on the child. But, once I put a bed routine (took a while to finally be successful) it was such a weight lifted off for my son and me. He finally got the hint and was so much better! ❤❤❤

I’m not a routine person at all, but having a bed time routine with my kids, especially when number 2 came along, helped tremendously! Plus no tv 2 hours before bed helps as well. The tv overstimulates our brains making it harder to fall asleep.

I have a similar life as you I have a 1yr old boy and I’m a SAHM. What helps me is not letting him nap after 5pm and he’s out by 10pm till the next day try it 😊 btw I love your content

Have you tried to get Aziz on a structured scheduled ? I’m not trying to judge I have a 9 month old and she strictly sleeps in her room and in bed by 8pm. It was rough at first but once we got her on a schedule our life was so much better! Also naps at set times in the crib during the day helped me get all the stuff I needed to get done like clean etc while baby was napping during the day. Get the book “moms on call” it changed my life !

Next time try to do the walk before his nap so that he can be extra tired and you can rest after walking so much! What helped my 18mo old the most is having a busy morning schedule so that nap isn’t too late then affecting bed time! The more you can get them out early in the morning the better! 🤞🏼💞

Hey what a beautiful family ❤ you are doing a great job, you can always try to incorporate a bedtime routine with Aziz to make him Understand when it’s time to go to bed for night, what I did with my little one was bathtime, then story time , ( I dim the lights or close them in room ) give him his bottle and then I rock him to sleep when he’s about to fall asleep put him down is his crib and do that until he falls asleep for night . I didn’t “ sleep train” but that always worked for me :)!
