Always enjoy Han content. Agree with you on this one. The modern progressive worldview does not exclude narrativity it is just incredibly obfuscated willingly. The moving forward or towards a destination is a prior in its definition.

I'm curious how you would connect this idea of point-time with our experience of age and the stages of life. For instance, has the relationship between the concept of "childhood" and the concept of "adulthood" changed? Do people, on average, mature faster or slower? How do people experience their teenage years differently? Are we closer to blurring the boundary between children and adults, considering how Western politics is dominated more and more by teenage online subcultures (American politics after 2016, according to Angela Neagle, is just 4chan boys vs. Tumblr girls). I would also add that one paradox of life in the 21st century is that our average lifespan (at least in the Western World) is increasing, which means we have more time, while simultaneously, more activities are becoming rushed and short-term.

In Quantum Mechanics, scientists claim they have evidence that a Quantum fluxuation in the future indeed changes the past. That to me sounds similar to redemption, or how a narrative ends determines the meaning of all prior events of that narrative.
