🎮 MOD INFORMATION 🎮
Critters and Companions, made by Bonsai Studios, introduces 8 passive mobs to Minecraft. Along with the animals, there are a few items that enhance the mod's playability. Have otters pop open clams to reveal pearls that you can eventually craft into necklaces! Carry a few water buckets with you while exploring, that way you'll be ready to scoop up any aquatic life you might encounter.

Just a friendly reminder, the mobs' health stats in my videos are health points, not hearts. For example, the red panda has 18 health points which is 9 hearts. Thanks for watching!

You forgot to mention that dragonflies can be tamed with spider eyes and given armour, and dumbo octopus will make you a bubble helmet to prevent drowning. Also, fishing isn't the only way to obtain clams, drowned can sometimes drop them.

@@quilzama Turns out the mod got updated after I made this video, so make sure you're using the latest version of the mod

Crimson this video : This is the Dmbo Octopus, a cute little fella you can find in your oceans and looks very cute Crimson in other videos : If you look behind you, you can see the Gigalomutans Monsturs Ex Aproaching, this abomination will eat your family and is immune to damage, it will however let you live so you can live in agony for the rest of your days. If you manage to kill it with the spiggot of pennance obtained from the Magolodocious Kar'Khalis by hitting it while is gorging on your first born, it drops Fragments of absolute Terror, these do not have use yet on this version, but the developers have confirmed it will be used to craft the Optolimepter of Dimensions.

Hey, this mod had a lot of updates and most of the mobs have drops and other utilities now. There's also new items like the grappling hook and dragonfly armor.

a couple of things that I've found that seem different to what you stated, 1. Clams can also be obtained by killing drowned, it's a random drop however. 2. dragonflies can be tamed with spider eyes that said, great video! My favourite mob is the Ferret, and not just because you can tame them... I just like feisty critters.

Right after I made this video the mod received a massive update, making dragonflies and red pandas tamable! More things were added but I can't remember what off the top of my head. Ferret is a good choice!

I am so confused. It says I need GeckoLib for the critters and companions mod but when I install it and add my server in, its saying delete the mod to join the server but i need it. I have no idea how to fix it... can anyone help me figure out what the heck is happening. Plz and thank u T-T

You basically need to install 2 mods instead of just the 1. Install geckolib like any other mod, here's the link: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/geckolib

Win Winner Winners Winning Here's my feedback: The intro was short and epic, loved 0:21, was a very cool edit you made. During the red panda section, did you mean to say it's hard to find because it spends most of its time sleeping or it's easy to find it because it doesn't scurry around a lot?. Everything else about this video is at its peak height of satisfaction.

I'ma be honest, I don't think I'm that big of a fan of this mod. The mobs are nicely animated, but most of them either serve no practical application or provide a function so niche you'd probably never use it.

I feel like the main idea of the mod is to simply add more mobs to roam your world and that's it. I do agree with you though, the player doesn't really have a reason to interact with the mobs
