This pretty crochet border is a beautiful finishing touch for an extra special blanket. It looks great on baby blankets or any blanket that you want to give an extra frilly lacy finish to. The pattern itself is quite simple and I spent some time working out how you can make this crochet border fit any blanket. If you spend a little time before you start crocheting following my step by step instructions, you’ll know how to adjust the stitch count so that the Sugar Sweet Border will work on your blanket.

I have a video tutorial for another blanket that would look gorgeous with this border, a giant granny square with simple filet detail ( • Crochet Baby Blanket -... )

This pretty crochet border is a beautiful finishing touch for an extra special blanket. It looks great on baby blankets or any blanket that you want to give an extra frilly lacy finish to. The pattern itself is quite simple, it uses beginner friendly stitches and techniques. So that you can fit this border to an existing blanket, rather than the exact blanket it was designed for, I spent some time working out the maths and showing you the techniques you need to adjust your stitch count. If you spend a little time before you start crocheting following my step by step instructions, you’ll know how to tweak your stitch count so that the Sugar Sweet Border will work on your blanket.
