Your bags turned out so cute!! Well done on the sewing, satin can truly be so finicky, but so pretty! Some hand sewing tips, if you’d like: What you did with shortening the distance between stitches definitely helped. From what I could see you were stabbing through the fabric and pulling it through each time (front-to-back and then back-to-front) (sort of like what most do for embroidery), but for sewing seams you may want to have the needle more parallel to the fabric, so you pass through the fabric twice (or more) each time you pierce the fabric. That makes it easier to have a tighter tension and it makes for faster handsewing! And to have even less space between stitches you might want to have a go at using a backstitch! It can be a bit of a pain right in the beginning of the seam, but there should be loads of tutorials out there if you search for it on youtube. You might also want to switch to a whip stitch for sewing the lining to the bag, just so the stitches are less visible, if that’s something you care about. But truly you did such a great job, and I envy you only having 1 WIP left! I have too many to count (also my fault for thinking a temperature blanket was a good idea this year…..)

You need to get fray check on the edge. It will fray and fall apart

I know its been 3 month but just found your video. If you want a strong stich look up a back stitch. Use a thimbel so the needle doesnt poke holes in your fingers. Also smaller stitches.
