I know its been 3 month but just found your video. If you want a strong stich look up a back stitch. Use a thimbel so the needle doesnt poke holes in your fingers. Also smaller stitches. One last thing cut the tread smaller then double it.You deffinately did well for your first time. I linked some tutorials that are short and to the point.
