😅I’m been watching you tubers crochet plushies for weeks now, so today I bought some yarn and am TRYING to crochet my first turtle.

I am new to amigurumi! I love your videos! I’ve only watched 2. I’ve been crocheting to sell at markets for a year. But I was only crocheting towels. Very limited market I know. So I broke down and started watching amigurumi videos just to see what the hype is all about. They are adorable but never having children of my own I wasn’t interested. But after watching hours of videos I realized they are not just for kids. I love that you are sharing your reviews and you sound so sincere. I listened to your “first market” video while I was working ( Im a custodian) and decided to follow you! Someone else has been selling amigurumi at the market I attended and so I was afraid to step on her toes. But I’m going to give it a try. I love where you said in that video that you sell because you love to create. So you didn’t keep track of the cost of the yarn. That’s me. I’ve wanted to sell something I made. So I’m going to give it a try. Thanks for the advice.

Hello Queen, Happy 2024! I have a suggestion (more of a request) First I would like to say. I enjoy watching your content. Now would like for you to put a 2024 challenge out for all you crochet's to purchase a large storage container maybe 2 or 3 so you can rotate between crafts. Therefore you won't get bored. 🙂. #2024InventoryStockpile fill the bins up with 1 item you work on as much as possible and record you doing so, go live. Also, please can y'all show you making them from start to finish no time lasp. Some of us would actually enjoying getting the entire experience. Also, I would love for you crafters to make your inventory in every color possible in your stock and them going to the store to purchase what you do not have. Everyone has a favorite color just because you don't like it or it may not sell right away it will. We would like to see you guys offering more mystery bags. Some of us like a mystery 😁. Last thing please stop getting rid of things that you make a mistake on make a basket and call them the unique misfits w/ a note even misfits need love. Stop dropping your price on them you still spent the same amount of time and money etc assembling them. Thank you for reading my suggestions. I hope to see it go into effect. If not, I do understand. I will be sending out to a couple other. Once again thanks in advance and I can't wait to see your newest video. 💜

Scout is adorable 🥰 and I’ll definitely check it out and tessa. They’re my favourites. I usually do crochet by gennas pattern but I crochet in the fins and bobble stitch the tail so the only sewing is the head. I’m sure you could add rows to the head to make that a crochet in option but I don’t. It’s such a great seller I can’t stop making them xx

What you could do for the flower eyes on the Boho Turtle is get a cut out stamper and cut the felt. I'm not sure what all sizes they come in or which you would need but the thought just came to me. I love your roundups cause I too feel like I'm always late to the pattern loop and watching these helps me find good patterns that people like!

Karen, you are awesome, fun and so expressive...which is relatable! I must admit I thought I owned a TON of turtle patterns but you showed me 3 that I've never seen! I love Scout and will be off to buy that right now...do you mind sharing what you would charge at a craft market for one? It looked tinier than other things I've made for my first market and I am not sure what a good price point would be. I just love the look of it! I am also in agreement with All From Jade patterns and I believe I own a lot of hers because they are just easy and amazing! But, I did find out that I own her Tiana pattern and NEVER made it because I couldn't stop making Tessa in all of the food mod patterns. I will make Tiana today, thanks to you! For anyone not sure about Raven and Jade, she is another amazing designer and her patterns are WORTH it! She has sales quite often and I own every pattern except her elf and this boho turtle, which I will also buy thanks to your enabling🤣😂 I've never made Genna's turtle but in the beginning on YT she always recommended Rose and Lily's turtle tutorial on youtube, which is what she always made. I've made it twice in large with jumbo yarn and a size 9 hook and it is AMAZING, too, if you want their pattern in your next review. Thank you for taking the time to make this, it was a lot of fun to watch!

I LOVED seeing all the turtles/tortoise and I also really love RavenJade items and have a few now but the bigger dolls are taking me a while to finish as I really want to play and tweak them. I haven't done her turtles yet but thanks for the heads up on the felt (think I'll use leather instead) I managed to buy the bundle a few other patterns of hers while on special Bunnies or chickens I'd love to see it due to the lead-up for Easter 🐣

I just bought the Tofu the Turtle pattern although I REALLY want the Tiana pattern I just could t justify almost $10 for the pattern even with the additional mods and as much as I wanted t to see how she did those feet 😉. I learned to crochet on turtles. I bought a pattern that made them look like fruits- strawberry, kiwi, lemon and watermelon. I progressed to jumbo turtles but really don’t like them. Fun for me is quick so I can move onto the next project 😂. I really really like the boho turtle, so unique! I would be tempted to glue fleece inside shell rather than felt as I have tons of pieces leftover from sewing baby sleep sacks and doll blankets for the grandchildren. Thanks for the turtle review, I have looked at many of the patterns you reviewed and it’s nice to hear your pros and cons.

A couple of things, I would suggest that next time you do turtles, in addition to Genna's patterns, you should also try one frome Rose and Lilly. She had multiple sizes that are free tutorials on KZfaq. As for future roundups, I love the frog idea. I would also suggest cows. Thank you again for doing this!! Love it!!
