I got a kit last Christmas to make this cute monstera leaf bag! When I first got it, I thought that this bag was way too complicated for my beginner crochet brain to make. But now that I got more experience, I realized that it wasn't that hard after all! This project was also perfect timing for the summer season. It was so cool that I got to use double crochets to make a pattern on the front and back of the bag. However, I wished that it was a bit easier to see the cool leaf pattern. This bag took so long to make! There were so many rows and each row took a while to make as each was unique to what pattern of single crochets and double crochets were in each one. It was my first time making a strap of a bag and attaching the strap with was a fun experience. I liked how the lining added a pop of color that the bag needed. The tassel is also a fun touch and I think that the beads are so cool! Also, the button somehow makes the bag so much more professional feeling lol. I enjoyed making this project and the finished product! I can't wait to use it!
