Pietro is adorable. Here are some tips from someone who’s been crocheting for probably longer than you’ve been alive. Take it or leave it as you will. When I crochet amis I usually do the faces last. If it’s based on a character, I have a reference picture nearby and refer to it constantly. Pins are your friends. I pin everything in place before attaching and this way, I can move pieces around easily. When making faces based on a character, getting everything in the right spot is one of the most important things because that makes the piece identifiable. That being said, pietro has tons of character and he’s snuggly and cute. 🥰

I wanna share what I’m working on, too- I’m doing a cardigan based off Tanjirō’s haori (FYI, in case someone reading this doesn’t know, Tanjirō is the main character of this anime/manga series called Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba) using the same method I’ve seen other people use for the Harry Styles cardigan. I managed to get my hands on this really nice teal-colored yarn, it’s probably as good as it’s gonna get despite it being a few shades darker than the color of the haori I’m basing it off of. I recently started and haven’t really advanced much, but I’d say it’s not looking too shabby if I do say so myself, specially considering it’s my first ever crochet project (I legit learned crocheting basics for the sake of making this lol-) Guess it now comes to praying to the crochet gods so that it comes out fine without it taking months on end to make-
