This is how many plushies I made in one week, for a craft show! I take you through how many plushies I make each day, and how much I can prepare for a market, when I have no stock! I am a full time crochet artist, and I run my business out of my home here in beautiful Newfoundland, Canada. I sell my plushies at markets and on my website. I also make and sell felt eyes, and amigurumi crochet patterns on my website!

Amazing! Great job! Your fingers must be about to fall off! :) Hope your craft fair went great! I can do a couple of plushies a day if my children let me be! :) if not, then one at the most! I'd LOVE to see actual market prep, like what you take, a checklist, even down to tables/tents, supplies all that. I have my first event coming up in September and I'm scared to prepare! :) I'm so excited but scared. It's also a festival, not an actual craft market ya know so I don't know what to expect as far as sales. Anyways, great content! Love seeing this!

I just found your channel. I enjoyed watching your market prep. I’m a much slower crocheter. I have a little arthritis in my hands, feet, and neck. I also get distracted very easy.

Loved watching! You do beautiful work! I can do a couple a day.. good sized ones.. but little things like the leggy frogs/pocket whales/octos or baby triceratops.. a dozen or so isn't unrealistic.. im not very fast.. but thats ok with me.. lol

For me as a very beginner I start something then do another thing, I try to finish but almost never so in 1 day then start another thing then pick the old thing back up lol

how did you make the bear with the froggy hat & purse? btw LOVE THIS VID (well at least what I watched of it 🤣! I'm almost 3 minutes in) can you try to make tutorials THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! Thanks! EDIT: I WANT THAT YARN SO BAD I MAINLY ONLY HAVE 4 ply. 😁🤣🤣 ANOTHER EDIT: because I ONLY have 4 ply it like takes me like 3 days to make a plushie about half a foot :( but it turns out AMAZING!!!

I’m slow, I don’t even get one done in a day. Probably because my tension is really tight. You should make a video on what you price your items and how much the markets cost and how you find them

My tension used to be really tight, changing your hook size helps. Honestly I don't feel super comfortable telling others how to price their plushies anymore, as there are so many factors that go into it. You have to consider your customer base, area, or where you'll be selling. Also consider how much you want to pay yourself etc. The coordinators of the markets I attend reached out to us on social media, and now we are in a reoccurring contract with them! :) And we pay anywhere from $100-$650 CAD for the fairs we attend! I hope that helps answer some of your questions! I have a market set up vlog coming soon!

Yes you do depending on where you live! There are certain regulations in some countries that you have to follow. Tests and whatnot before you're allowed to sell items. Definitely check with the laws in your area!

Take frequent breaks, save your hands! If I feel any bit of tension in my hands at all, I take a break for a few hours ,or a few days! I get shoulder pain and sometimes pain in my hands. Not fun!
