Funny how I watched this anime by mistake when my brother brought home the dvd from our local library bc I thought it was gonna be a different type of anime but I was wrong and I enjoyed it to the end.

I find myself returning to this show again & again, finding new things to admire. Like how almost every sketch involving Pootan, is pretty much a perfect depiction of confusing fandom. I've even started using the word Pootan as any piece of media that is well love by the public, but hated by you.

Aznumanga Daioh and Cromatie High is my two favourites Anime

Chromartie is a fantastic series in general, and an excellent satire on Japanese society and interpersonal cultural norms, although I do think a fair bit tends to get lost in translation. Oh and the Japanese voice cast is fantastic.

I often saw adds for this classic Anime on my mid 2000s Anime DVDs in the trailers. Sadly I never got this series but knowing I love my comedies I know I should have got it while I had the chance. Now it's way too hard to grab copies of this classic anime, time to sail the seas I guess.

This show had my laughing from episode 1. So much mayhem goes on, I just shut off my brain, watch, laugh, and accept whatever is going on. To be fair, I also enjoy anime such as bobobo-bo bo-bobo. So, going from that type of humor to this type of humor, it was a smooth transition
