I'm just remembering, these books do have a sequel series! Its not a graphic novel sadly, but its about three new Bones returning to The Valley some time after the events of the story. From what I recall, Thorn has been poisoned and is at death's door when three new Bones arrive, flying in from a small air balloon. Don't remember more than that but it could be interesting. Also the side comics from the Bone series, Tall Tales and Rose is really good. Tall Tales explore more Bone lore, while Rose tells the story of a young Grandma Ben back when she was Rose. We see events unfold that explains the war and how the kingdom fell, the death of Thorn's parents, and the betrayal of Briar and how she became The Hooded One.

I love this series. Honestly, my first convention was to meet the author and he was super nice from what I remember being a quiet kid at the time. I was only missing one book, which was book 3: Eyes of the Storm, and both him and the illustrator not only signed the book but drew their favorite characters in the book. It was amazing to see and a memory I keep near and dear.

My first anime my older, maternal half-sister got me into, in the 2000’s as 12-year old me, as Azumanga Daioh, was my reintroduction to anime (first being Sailor Moon of the Mid-90s).

My initial encounter with azumanga happened about 9 years ago. I discovered it through the meme sprays in TF2 and wanted to check out the source. But at that time anime was something that started becoming very hyped in my country (or at least i thought so). And my edgy mid-teenage ass wanted to abstain from anything that is popular. So i dropped it without finishing the first episode. Throughout the years sometimes i remembered that “there was that anime i wanted to check out” but i didn’t really acted upon these thoughts, forgetting it in the end. And here i finally gave it a full watch a week or two ago after finding small collectible card with Yomi in my stuff. (Bought it like 4 years ago for dirt cheap price of 50yen when i was ordering a bunch of figures for my (now ex) girlfriend) Honestly, it was a blast and made me regret i didn’t watched it earlier. Although, given the main reason i liked it so much, azumanga wouldn’t hit me like that back then anyway. The reason in point are those nostalgic references of youth and comfort it gives me in every episode. The exact “similar experiences” you mentioned in your video. It takes my mind off my current dull life, making me think of how actually cool and vivid my life was back in my teen years. Maybe it was for the good that i watched it so late i guess. I don’t know why i decided to ramble so much about it. Maybe because i found this whole situation somewhat weird… like this show was waiting for its best time for me to watch it, following me for so many years and months. Just to resurface when i am at my lowest. To those who made it this far into my twaddle: cheers, and have a fine day. Btw: if i ever have to work as a school teacher (ironically, i’m actually studying at the pedagogical university for an English teacher), i’m going to use Yukari as the role model for sure XD

I was born in 2003, became a fan of this band and loved this albulm thanks to a friend who's into anime, and I genuinely hope I get to live at least to 2095 and retain enough mental health to blast TIME on new year's day.

To me Apocalypse now is water down Vietnam version of Come and See but from the other sides view instead of the view of a guerilla fighter its from the side of the mechanized figther instead of a boy becoming a man who becomes a victim it is of a man who is one with war and only wants the mission done

My friend (also my bandmate), showed me this record while we were driving to a different town for a rehearsal. I remember thanking him so much for showing me Time, as it brought together everything i wanted music to be and inspired me like never before. Can't name anything even vaguely similiar to it. Thanks Marek!

Why is yotsuba so popular? I don't know, but most likely because people find it very moe... moe meaning cute. People (majority grown men) who read this manga like little girls because they find little girls cute. Grown men liking little girls... this is why

The CG sheepocaust redeemed the 2017 anime tbh But seriously though as much as I recognize how superior the 2003 anime is, it is undeniably funny and strange how Kino stands out so much from being the only blobhead in the whole anime, not even the other child characters got blobhead. Ignoring the lesser visual (plagued with mid to late-2010s oversaturated colors), 2017 Kino is still really neat, it just got the pacing of the old extra Kino OVAs and movies so it's not as slow as the 2003 anime. Also fun fact: one of Yuuki Aoi's earliest role (practically real debut role) is Sakura in the 2003 Kino anime, it's quite poetic that she then voices Kino in the 2017 anime.

Don't follow your heart. Follow Jesus. He's the one who can redeem your heart and soul. God bless :-) :-) :-) Jermaine 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I love the outro. Orchestral music is already nice to listen to in the first place, but pairing it with my favorite anime (I’ll order the manga soon) just makes for such a good ending to a fantastic video.

Great video. NNB was a surprise hit for me and now it's one of my favorite SOLs. Something that really stood out to me was the fact that every character including the side characters were fun to watch. I always wanna say Hikage is my favorite, but then I start second guessing with Subaru, Natsumi, Komari, Kazuho, etc. It's also one of those shows where I never rated it below an 8 on MAL. Def a one of a kind anime.

In the beginning Nacho was fighting for himself, but using the earnings on the orphans while occasionally for himself. But he had no purpose to win. He was making enough money to get better food and such. If you believe that god had a bit of control over his fights, it makes sense. There’s no need for him to win because he was getting what he needed. But it bothered nachos ego when he lost. He didn’t deserve to win, nor would he be given help. Then the church finds out his secret, and he’s kicked out not knowing what to do, but then he gets a chance to fight Ramses. But does it because it’s a rare opportunity and he should see it through. But there’s still no favor of him winning because him winning at the time would just boost his ego, he didn’t necessarily need the win. But when the kids come to support him he finally gets his noble cause, and him there is now a universal reason for him to win and there are stakes. You could use the story of Samson in the book of judges as a comparison. But overall god or not, he did finally have a noble reason and deserve the win at the end
