I absolutely have 1000% respect for this nation's fleet of ag-pilots. You guys provide such a vital service to America and it angers me to no end to know that there are so many ingrates out there ready to lie on you guys in hopes of a free payday. Ever since I was a very young boy of 5, I have always enjoyed standing at field's edge watchin pilots like you fly. It saddens me to know that anyone watching is now a valid cause for suspicion and concern. I just wish people would respect you guys and what you do because without ag aviation, we would not have a safe, plentiful, AFFORDABLE supply of grain, fiber, and forestry products. God bless you and all your fellow ag-pilots and may every season be safe, productive, and, above all, FUN.

We appreciate that very much! Yes it is very sad how our society has become! So many people wanting paid for doing nothing. Anyway, such is life and we will move forward. Thanks again for the love and respect and thanks for watching!

I appreciate your response so much! I do this because I love it….there are many easier and safer ways to make a dollar, but none more satisfying to me than ag flying. At the end of the day, I know I have done something good for a farmer….which is good for our country.

I remember my mom talking about a guy who called and said my dad sprayed his field and killed it. Couple of problems with his claim, 1 it wasnt near the field he sprayed, yes he flew over it to and from the strip, 2 all the fields around it were dying too as there was a drout going on at the time. Gotta be accurate and cya nowadays. People will try anything to try and get money out of you......

I love flying but unfortunately drones will take over pretty soon.

Drones will definitely have their place but I don’t think that they will ever take over.

How many seasons have you been flying ag? What plane did you start out in and how old were you when you flew your first for-hire load?
@IowaFlyingFarmer2 ай бұрын
I have been flying ag for 10 years now. My first ag plane that I flew a paying load in was a 188 Cessna Ag Truck. I would have been about 45 years old when I flew my first paying load. Thanks again for watching!

@@IowaFlyingFarmer My late ag-pilot friend, James Earl "J.T." Taylor spent almost 40 years flying a 188 Ag-Wagon.
