Wow! I was thinking this was just going to be a lesser version of my Maximus but I wanted it any way. I’m super impressed! It’s easier and quicker to charge and it’s accurate AND quiet. Definitely quieter than my Maximus, I’m really stoked. 😀👍

That was beautiful to watch. The 3622 continues to prove its worth. I love how versatile it is, even out of the box. Also looking forward to modding it with some BR products though.

Thanks! I’m super impressed. 😀Seems like a number of videos I’ve watched about the gun were kinda negative and complaining about things that are trivial to me. I don’t care what a communist China 🇨🇳 Beeman Chief comes with. I’d much rather support an American company with American workers. If my 3622 was mediocre out of box performance wise than I’d be singing a different tune but so far it’s great! 😀

@airgunsalaska things shooting off to the right is my only complaint with my 3622. All of those I shared the fun of airguns with didn't seem to mind. She does exactly what she was built to do. I don't know that I'm man enough to try 50 yards with iron sights myself though. This old papa struggles at 25. 😆

@@PapaTAdventures make sure to try adjusting the windage on yours. The rear sight isn’t held all the securely and can move if it gets bumped onto something. From the limited shooting I did last night mine was good with windage, I just needed to adjust elevation. Unfortunately I don’t believe there is a higher quality rear peep sight available that mounts to the plastic breech. A Williams type, adjustable peep sight in this gun would be pretty sweet. It’s completely do able with a Crosman steel breech but that’s additional money and I’ve noticed from some other videos that some guys are upset at the cost of this gun and how stripped down it is. A steel breech, Williams peep sight, wood stock version of this gun would be very nice! But, I sure like how light and handy this gun is right now. 😀

@airgunsalaska I have the windage maxed and still a bit right, but thank you. I have seen that there are several who have found the sights were installed at a cant, leading to same issue. I just Kentucky it for now, but do need to see if I can figure it out and straighten it. We'll see if I do this or get the BR mount and a scope first. 🙃

I wasn’t even planning on doing a video tonight and then I was like “Wow! I’m hitting cans at 50yds no problem!”. I filmed the first 5 and I inadvertently cut my head outta the shot when I talked about the gun facing the camera so I filmed again I hit all 5 cans again no problem. I was stoked!

I had one in order through Amazon back in April and they suddenly canceled the order. I think that was due to the gun not being able to be shipped to Alaska unless it was degassed. I had to buy it through Airgun Depot and pay shipping. Shipping! 🤬😡 I don’t like having to pay shipping when AD provides free shipping to the rest of the USA.
@jackpotparty58

@@airgunsofalaska Yea, I hear you on shipping. I find myself buying extra items, trying to make shipping worth it. Sometimes, shipping is more than the item I'm buying and it never gets bought. I hate when shipping cancels out your discount. 🤬 Lol I run into that a lot. That's why it's such a a bummer that Amazon no longer ships airguns to my location I'm excited for you. 😀👍

I really like mine, very lightweight in stock form. I just wonder what will happen with things now that Crosman got bought out. It would be nice to see a .177 version, a 367 and 3677... someone suggested they probably didn’t make a 367 because it might cannibalize sales of their 2100, legacy 1000 etc...
@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Ай бұрын
I really like my custom 367. I think they should offer one, it was shown in their ‘23 catalog and the 362 platform is nicer and different than the 2100. I think it would compliment it nicely.

Great shooting with open sights at 50 yards! Beer can accuracy is nice for plinking! Which breech are you adding for mounting a scope? TKO 22 is another option too. Good shooting with the CPHP pellets at 50 yards.

I was super impressed it shot that consistently at 50 yds! I’m not sure that I’m going to add a scope to this gun. I like how smoothly the plastic breech feeds and I’ve got another idea on how I want to modify and use the gun… more to come! 😄

My Drifter is a fun gun to shoot. I think the way they sell it as a kit is overpriced but it’s a nice, lightweight and handy set up. Mine is in pieces currently awaiting the installation of a different breech when I get around to it. I keep modifying the gun with different ideas. 😄

It's a lot quieter than the Maximus? Cool! I've been rocking the Stormrider again lately it's pretty cool how PCP brings the humble, classic pellet into another world of performance.
@airgunsofalaska

Definitely quieter 👍, I was really pleased to hear the reduced report when shooting. It must have something to do with the larger caliber and likely lower velocity?

@@airgunsofalaska Ohh is the Maximus breaking mach 1 in .177? That would be annoying! One reason I haven't been too stoked about getting a powerful .177 I'd have to feed it special heavies all the time to keep it quiet.
@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Ай бұрын
@@yoitired it could be, I’m not positive? I should look into that as it’s annoyingly loud but it sounds more like air than a crack. To top it all off I can’t find my Buck Rail silencer. Thanks for the suggestion, I’d not thought about trying heavier pellets. 👍
@yoitired
@yoitired Ай бұрын
@@airgunsofalaska It looks like its power levels could put light .177s into the sonic range. Trying some heavies might be the easiest test. Actually while looking at that I saw the g2 Fortitude is available on the Benjamin site for $215, verrryyy tempting. The 397 made me realize I miss having a high performance .177.
@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Ай бұрын
@@yoitired Wow! That’s a great deal.😄👍 It looks like my Marauder with a Maximus stock and it also has a regulator. If I wanted another PCP I’d buy it for that price. The only downsides would be charging it with a hand pump and I suspect the gun is really front heavy. I’ll also need to try some heavier pellets, good idea!

You would think the air cylinders would be identical on how hard they are to fill up with the Maximus cuz they're pretty much identical
@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Ай бұрын
I’d have totally guessed they were too. I’ve not yet compared the guns side by side but I will. The 3622 just felt easier to pump up and took fewer pumps but a side by side, shot for shot comparison will be the best way to determine that. 👍

We’ve got a brown bear sow with 2 or 3 large cubs running around but I’ve not seen her around my yard. But, my neighbor so huge bear tracks nearby last week. We’ve also got moose, black bears that are quite common and will occasionally come through my yard. I don’t walk my dog without carrying bear spray or even ride my bike without bear spray. Oh and we did have an old cougar! She moved away a couple months ago. Ha ha 🤣 😂

@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Ай бұрын
I’ve not yet decided to install a scope. If I do I’ll install a steel breech first as that’s the best, most solid way to scope the gun. Chances are I will scope it down the road as I’ll likely want to start modifying it at some point. I suspect it’ll be quite accurate! 👍😀
