1 Maradona , when he was yet in physical decadence injuried and a ghost on pitch in almost all games ?? I can understand the admiration for the outclass, but fairly that was not the tournament his starlight shined in.

@@carlobrotto7132 He was leader and playmaker, he had different role than in Mexico. Yes, he played with injury. And without him Argentina would not be in the final. Argentina had no strikers in 1990, that's why Maradonas passes were not used well. Also referees were crap. Watch games vs Cameroon or Russia, Maradona played great.

@@mikoajdariuszmackowiak2141 to tell the truth the refs were crap in a different way : in the Russia game Maradona should have been redcarded and the russian team awarded of a penalty the referee had not balls to whistle, upon the rules.This way would Argentina have been eliminated at stage phase, in addition in the Jugoslavia match Maradona was litterally ghost on pitch and Argentina got qualified at shootouts. Ok, different people different ooints of view.
