Fantastic video. Love to see the big iron in Oz similar to our prairie states and Alberta/Saskatchewan equipment. Hindsight being 20/20 is easy to second guess the operator but, from firsthand knowledge, when things start going bad, they go bad quickly! Blessing nobody was hurt, iron can be fixed.

Wow, that was certainly a bit of a pickle to get out of.

I remember one time when a brand new demo tractor was jack-knifed and rolled over on a slippery hill, when the farmer wanted to see 'what the new tractor could do'. What is the most affordable way to avoid the big seeder jack knifing ? Can the Bourgault surge brakes be retrofitted? Make an electronic map to geofence parts of the farm seeding area to not have the air cart filled up? The larger places often have more than one seeder, have a small & lighter seeder for hills?

That's one of the things about AG equipment I'll never understand. No brakes?? Why? They could have changed things but wagons, ag trailers carts and any equipment towed by a tractors hasn't brakes. When I was a kid I wondered why a farmer was driving so slow with his wagons in tow (2-3 of them) Dad said "they don't have brakes on the wagons". I wonder how many carts and wagons roll away every year? With electric brakes they should all have them and what really gets me is tractors only have rear brakes on most of them. Yikes! People don't understand what you have to deal with every day, and how many times you were scared (or nervous) just tilling soil or driving down a hill. Glad it didn't destoy anything and all went well in the end!
