6 chest-to-bar pull-ups
6 squat snatches, 95 lb.
Then, 3 rounds of:
7 chest-to-bar pull-ups
5 squat snatches, 135 lb.
*Prior to 12:00, complete 3 rounds of:
8 chest-to-bar pull-ups
4 squat snatches, 185 lb.
*Prior to 16:00, complete 3 rounds of:
9 chest-to-bar pull-ups
3 squat snatches, 225 lb.
*Prior to 20:00, complete 3 rounds of:
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
2 squat snatches, 245 lb.
Prior to 24:00, complete 3 rounds of:

First time I’ve seen this as I didn’t start CrossFit until Oct 2017 - WOW!!! All 3 athletes are amazing. I love the guts and grit of all 3!!! Incredible perseverance by Cole Sager!!!!

Info: Manuel C.N. 17 is the year of the open. And 3 is the week. Week 4 of the 2016 open would be 16.4. Hope this helps :)

The bar weighs 44lbs / 20kg so do the collars weigh a pound?? or are they just calling it close enough? The womens bar is only 33lbs... I know they make 45lbs crossfit specific bars but they are using the eu weightlifting bar that is 44lbs exactly.

Standard Olympic barbell is exactly 20,0 Kg that is 44,092 pounds. Copy from Wiki: A men's Olympic bar is a metal bar that is 2.2 metres (7.2 ft) long and weighs 20 kilograms (44 lb). The outer ends are 50 millimetres (2.0 in) in diameter, while the grip section is 28 millimetres (1.1 in) in diameter, and 1.31 metres (4.3 ft) in length. The bars have grip marks spaced 910 millimetres (36 in) apart to allow intuitive grip width measurement.[4] It is the standard used in competitive weightlifting where men and women compete at the highest level - the Commonwealth Games, Pan-American Games, World Championships, and the Olympics. Bars of this kind must have suitable "whip" (ability to store elastic energy), sleeves which rotate smoothly, as well as capacity to withstand multiple dropped lifts from overhead.

Who are you to comment? Don't come with those aren't pull ups shit.. It is crossfit, not calisthenics or any other form of fitness. So those are perfect chest to bar pull ups in crossfit mode!

He did Olympic weightlifting for like 10 years before doing crossfit. I’m sure this workout out wasn’t out of his kill zone.

OMG guys. Do you know anything about how much these guys train? not to mention his olympic lifting background. They also get tested, that's why Ricky Gerard was disqualified from 2017 Games. these guys live in the gym, and they go to all kinds of clinics (massages, cupping, dry needling, chiropractors, and orthopedics) to keep their bodies at 100% all the time so they can keep training all the time.

I think that PED's are a huge part of sport in general, most of them have a very small half life and aren't found in your system when you are off cycle. I also think that when you hear stories of these guys doing 3+ hours training a day, most likely keeping their heart rate extremely high, you wonder how they are able to retain and build muscle mass. I think we cannot know that anyone who hasn't been busted is on anything, but the notion that everyone who tests negative is clean is a little naive.
